August Sponsors

Today I have four lovely ladies for you to meet, to check out their blog and follow them!!
For sponsorships, I asked each blogger to provide me a photo, a blurb about them and their blog and answer a question that changes monthly. This month's question is what do you do in August to cool off from the heat?

First up is Lauren of Girls Gone Food.
My name is Lauren and I'm a 20-something year old that loves to find the fun in life. One of my passions has always been food. There is just something about its entertainment quality and ability to bring people together that is really special. Starting sometime in college, I discovered my love for cooking. Since then, I haven't really stopped. I put a lot of love and care into everything I make, and wanted to create a blog to showcase that. I love to entertain, so my blog has tons of fun party recipes and drinks.

What do I do in August to cool off?
My favorite thing to do in August is to go to the beach. In my opinion, having a cold beer in my hand and feeling the wind in my hair is the best way to cool off!

Next meet Danae of danae marie.
Hello! My name is Danae Marie. Allow me to introduce myself:
I am an optimist, eager to see the light and good in life.
I deeply desire to see women empowered all over the world.
I wish every woman could see the strength and beauty she holds within.
I wish she knew how powerful her beauty is and how she can change lives.
Things I love include: God, words, competing, creativity, art/photography, and people.
Things I write about:

- My experiences as a collegiate athlete
- Motivation and tips for healthy living
- Thoughts about our purpose in life
- My aspirations as a creative writer/photographer
- Real life from a real girl who cares so much about the world and hopes she can make a difference with her life.

What do I do in the heat of August to cool off?

As a native West Michigander, it’s simple: I plan a trip to glorious Lake Michigan with my girlfriends! The water is shockingly cold! But on hot days it’s deliciously refreshing. I love feeling the toasty sand under my feet and laughing with my homies. Oooh the grand, dog days of summer, I will love you forever

And Regina of Live Delightfully
Hi y'all, I'm Regina and I blog over at Live Delightfully, and run an Etsy shop by the same name. Just a little bit about me: I'm married to a preacher; we our foster parents to the two cutest little boys in the entire world (and we're hoping we get to keep them); I love fashion; I love to cook, sew, bake, paint, read, write, garden, and many other creative things. My family is what keeps me going, my creativity is what keeps me sane. My blog is an inspirational, lifestyle blog about life as a foster momma, DIYs, recipes, handmade goods, fashion, and just all things that delight me. My Etsy shop has various nursery and children’s room décor.

I’m just a down-to-earth, fun-loving, Southern gal who is working towards her dream of being a Christian woman, great wife, awesome momma, writer, and designer specializing in nurseries and children’s rooms. I believe in laughter, magic, true love, God, the power of prayer, rainbows and kittens, buying handmade, wishing on shooting stars, and helping others. Stop by my blog or Facebook page and say HI, or send me a tweet! I love meeting new people and chit-chatting!

What do you do to cool off from the August heat?
August is a great month for us. By the time August rolls around our summer is winding down. We aren't travelling anymore, and Joey isn't gone to church camps. It's great to have that down time to reconnect and since we're big movie lovers, we beat the heat by staying in, or going out to the movies and seeing some of the big summer blockbusters. It's also the time for our town's annual Watermelon Round-up Festival so we have a great time going to that, eating fair food and all the ice cold watermelon we can eat, and shopping at booth's set up by local craftsmen and women.

Finally Laurie of Love, Laurie

Hi, my name is Laurie and I blog over at Love, Laurie.  I live in Northeastern Pennsylvania with my husband, Ryan, and our kitten, Leko.  For fun, we love to ride our bikes, enjoy the outdoors, and explore new places.  We absolutely love cooking and baking too!  My blog is about my day-to-day life with my husband.  I started my blog in October of 2011 as a way to share snapshots of our lives with family and friends.  Since then, I have picked up a few extra readers along the way, and I have really enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people through blogging.

More June Sponsors

More June sponsors for you to meet!

My name is Alyssa and I blog over at Ten Feet Off Beale. I am a Jersey girl who moved to Memphis, Tennessee on a complete leap of fate. I couldn't be happier. Even though I live far from my family and everything I had ever known, I love everything about the South and know this is exactly where I'm meant to be. I blog about my adventures, daily life, and sometimes I even get deep. I love making new friends through this crazy world of blogging and would love to meet you, so come by and say hello!

Ahhh June, what a wonderful month. Even though I work a full time job, June is the first month that actually feels like summer. In this Southern heat and humidity, the best thing, and my favorite thing, to do on a June day is lounge by the pool with a group of friends.

Meet Abby and her blog Every Day with Hazel Mae

Hi, I'm Abby and run a little blog called Every Day With Hazel Mae where you can read about my sweet life as a working mama to my girl, {you guessed it} Hazel Mae.

I started blogging in January of 2012 as a way to share all of my daily thoughts and inspirations with the world. I have a ton of creative energy and I am always looking for ways to express myself – whether it be through trying a new recipe, finger painting, playing dress up or decorating my house. I always have my hands busy with something.

I really love sharing little details of my life and things that I find fun and interesting. You'll read about my challenges as a working mama to an almost 3 year old, my interests in fashion and trends and you may notice that I love anything that's the color coral and drinking wine. I try to keep it real.

I love taking long walks with Hazel through all of the amazing gardens we have in Portland (that's where I live) in the early summer. June is when all of the Roses are in bloom. Fun Fact: Portland is known as the City of Roses and we have one of the oldest and largest Rose test gardens in the country. :::nerd::: June is probably my favorite month to live in Oregon because it's no longer raining but it's not too hot either! There are always lots of activities and farmer's markets to enjoy outside.

I hope you enjoy reading my blog as much as I enjoy writing it. And thanks a bunch to Meg for hosting a spot for me on Henning Love. I'm such a huge fan of her blog!

Tomorrow is the start of a new month and a few July sponsors for you to meet. I have a few spots left so let me know if you would be instead in a swap for July or sponsoring.

June Sponsors

Happy Sunday all!

I love my boys, my sexy husband, reality tv, frappes, shopping, taking pictures, making tasty food, traveling, working out & eating paleo, crafting and life in general. Stop by and say HI to me and my men!!
My favorite June activity is making homemade ice cream and watching my boys make a mess of themselves while eating it, with sprinkles of course!:) Sprinkles make everything better!

Meghan of More from Meg

Hi Blog Friends!
I'm a twenty-something newly married girl living in beautiful Indianapolis, IN. Home of Super Bowl 2012 - yay baby!! I went to college at the University of Indianapolis and graduated in 2007 with a major in Marketing.
I've had a lot of blogging experience - not only do I read a lot of blogs, but I used to work for a blogging software company and had to blog quite a bit! And truth be told, I miss it a little bit and that is what has sparked my interest in starting this blog. I love to spend time with our yellow lab, Libby, traveling, working out, reading, planning and organizing, and my most recent obsession - crafting!

I am always on the go, and rarely do I have any patience! :) My husband and I are somewhat newlyweds (married for almost 3 years - not sure how long you can have that newlywed title), we moved into our first home in 2010 and I feel like I'm still decorating and making it "ours", but I'm loving every minute of it.
My husband, my brother in-law, and myself have a marketing consulting and business development company - I love working from home and being responsible for something that we built! Now I know what you're thinking - is it hard working with your husband and family? Nope, they make it easy! We are growing rapidly and that has been the main focus in our lives for some time now - even though we always seem busy, I wouldn't change it!

May Sponsors Feature (and Happy Mother's Day)

Happy Sunday and I wish all the mothers out there a wonderful Mother's Day, hope you are filled with love by your family because you are indeed special, exquisite and just wonderful.
Happy Mother's Day to my mom, you have done so much for me and my siblings. You have filled us with love, with knowledge of God and His word and has passed out many important lessons on this earth, the most important who we should be living for each day, our heavenly Father. Thank you for what you have taught us, for praying for us each and every day and for loving us always.

Hi all!!
I want to introduce you to the great sponsors for the month of May here on henning love.
For sponsorship, I ask each blogger to provide the following information, a blurb about them, their blog and then to answer one question that changes each month. This month's question is what is your favorite type of flower (you know the saying April showers bring May flowers).

First up is Allyson of Cupcakes and Candy Canes, doesn't her blog sound so sweet ;-)

Hi! I'm Allyson, and I blog over at Cupcakes and Candy Canes.  I'm a future teacher, and I blog about finishing school, cooking, crafties, and wedding thoughts.  I really love networking with other bloggers, and I am so excited to grow along with all of you.
Question - My favorite flowers are probably tulips - there is just something so clean-looking about them.

Next is Kara Styled with Life

Hey! My name is Kara, and I'm a 20- something just starting out in the blogging world! (I’m really loving it!) I was born in Idaho, have lived up and down the coast of California, but feel most at home in the Bay Area. It’s where I went to college, work, and most importantly where I spend time with my wonderful family and friends. I love fashion, interior design, bad reality TV, bright colors, neutrals, rom-coms, animals, Kristin Wiig and Keri Russell (just to name a few things!) I’ve come to a place in my life where I’m learning to love the little things and take in every moment. I am constantly reminded of how lucky of a girl I am. I find time for gratitude everyday.

Styled With Life is a “lifestyle blog” where I share my love of fashion, interior design and products I’ve come across. I also love to share tidbits of my life, work, family and friends. I’d love for you to stop by, and maybe even stay awhile! I look forward to meeting you!

In answer to the famous monthly question, I would say my favorite May flower is a Peony! Any color, any size! I love how their presence can take over a room, but their simply beauty can be so understated at the same time!

Followed by another great sponsor Andrea of Left Brain, Right Brain, Pug Brain.

Hey, I'm Andrea from Left brain, right brain, pug brain! I'm an aspiring fiction author, wife to an engineer and proud dog-momma to a cute, lazy, carrot-loving puggle. We just graduated from college and made the move from rural Missouri to Southern California. Our blog is all about real life: our adventures as California transplants, my musings about writing and a giant mishmash of me dabbling in fashion, photography, food and fitness. And I talk about ice cream. A lot.

Question:
Oh, geez, I don't know anything about flowers. I like lilies? Does that count?

April Sponsor

Happy Sunday friends!
I have one April sponsor to introduce to you all Kira of Rain or Shine. She lives where I would love to reside one day, Oregon. I have only been there once and it was definitely a very cool state. Kira has an adorable daughter named Pearl and I would love for you all to stop by and check out her blog!
For my sponsorships, I asked each blogger to provide a blurb about them and their question and answer one question which changes each month. The question of the month is how do you stay dry during April showers?

Hi, I'm Kira and I blog over at Rain or Shine.  I'm an apparel/accessories designer by trade although I am currently taking some time at home with my daughter Pearl.  I live in Portland, OR and I love it so much that I have a weekly series on my blog called "Portlander Problems".  Other than Portland related posts, you will find a lot about my daughter, DIY tutorials, photos of our home remodel, and creative inspiration.  Stop by and say hi, I love making new blogger friends!

How do I stay dry during April showers? Well, I'm from Oregon...so I don't!  As a true Oregonian, you won't catch me with an umbrella, but I do believe in the power of a great jacket (or maybe 10) and boots to keep me as dry as possible.

Another sponsor and giveaway!

Happy Monday everyone! How is everyone doing with the spring forward change? Surprisingly, yesterday was the first day I didn't feel off on daylight savings whether it is spring forward or fall back. I had a great weekend, line dancing on Friday for a friend's birthday, met up with a few friends and said good-bye some good friends of ours.
Today I have another March sponsor of henning love for you to meet and she is graciously doing a giveaway.
Meet Makaila of Distinctly M! She has this coolness about her and lives in Portland, a place I would love to live one day!

Hi!  I'm Makaila.  I'm momma to one rambunctious boy, I love heels, I'm completely jealous of people that are witty, I wish on daytime naps, I can't cook, I don't people watch, I rock a ten-key {so nerdy, I know} during the week, and I fantasize about leaving it all behind to hunt vintage frames at flea markets, and to make cool things that people love.

I once said "I'm going to write that down so 1 ~ I remember,  and  2 ~ so that I don't forget." I've found my blog, {www.distinctlym.blogspot.com} Distinctly M, has become one of the absolute best journals I've ever had, and what's even more fun is virtually opening it up to an entire world of women that are opening up their lives, interests, and talents too!

What is your favorite green-colored item in honor of St. Patrick's Day?

As soon as I read this question from Meg, I hopped off my bar stool, ran down to my costume closet in the garage, and pulled out my favorite St. Patty's shirt that I'm sporting in the picture.  My babe bought this for me and I'm keeping it to wear forever more on St. Patty's day.  Worn, of course, with Green Turquoise, my very fav semi-precious stone.

Makaila makes jewelry frames and is giving one away to a lucky follower!
How cool is this rose bud lace jewelry frame!

And some additional photos!

all photos courtesy of Makaila on her Etsy shop

To enter this giveaway: you must be a follower of henning love and Makaila's blog, Distinctly M

Additional entries: Pin any photos you find on henning love
Follow Makaila on twitter  @distinctlym

That is it folks, keeping it easy for you. Giveaway closes this Friday, March 16. I still have to calculate the winners of the two giveaways that closed last Friday but will announce them soon.

Happy Sunday henning love readers!
Did you remember to move your clocks forward if you live in a time zone that recognized daylight savings time?
I have some wonderful March sponsors of henning love for you to meet and learn more about them then go check out their blog!
As usual I ask each sponsor to tell us a little bit about themselves and their blog and answer one other question. The question for this month was what is your favorite green colored item since St. Patrick's Day is coming up.

Introducing:
Stephanie from Fall with Us
Hello there Henning Love fans!  I'm so grateful to be a guest here on her lovely website.  In the spirit of St Patty's day, we thought it would be fun to talk green. K ill go first - I love green grapes (they make yummy wine), green grass (it reminds me of warmer weather), and wind turbines.  (yup  - not green color, but ya know..."green")

So a little bit about me. I have 2 little guys, a pup that looks like a mini lab, I live near Philly, love to find great finds at thrift stores, love to be inspired and repurpose things, yoga, oh and I Blog!  Check it out, its got a bit a mix, with style, life, some DIY, and photography.  Here I am over here - www.fallwith.us  Would love to see ya!

Ok so fellow Henning readers, spill it, whats your favorite green thing?
Happy March!

Next is Kate of Kate As of Late!

Hi! My name is Kate and I blog at Kate As of Late! I am a 20-something full time student and fur-mommy, and I recently moved to a new city to start at a new school! My blog is very random, covering everything that happens in my life. I tell stories about my furbabies Sadie and Scout, I love linkups, you will find a recipe here or there, and of course lots of love for Pinterest!
My favorite green-colored item, in honor of St. Patrick's Day (one of my favorite holidays) is Mountain Dew! Something I enjoy year round, and anyone who reads my blog, knows I love! I hope you check out and enjoy my Kate As Of Late!

Then Allison of Nestful of Love!

Hi, I'm Allison! I blog over at Nestful of love where I talk about my life as a teacher and wife to my high school sweetheart. You may also hear a little bit lot about my 2 furbabies Bear and Sawyer. I have a love for anything that calls for a little creativity so I post a lot of recipes (you will learn quickly that I am obsessed with The Pioneer Woman) and do it yourself projects. I'm always feathering my nest and love to share home improvement projects as well. I call Cincinnati home and enjoy exploring my city and all it has to offer. I'd love for you to join me on my adventures!
My favorite green item for St. Patty's day this year would have to be...my new Essie navigate her nail polish! I will definitely be wearing it on St. Patty's day so if I somehow forget to actually wear something green I won't get pinched by my adorable yet ornery 2nd graders!

Charred Chicken and a Cracked Kitchen Sink Pipe

I'm sure all of us have had those nights where it just seems to be one thing after another, after another. Yesterday night ended up being one of those nights, first we were grilling chicken on the grill, and the chicken somehow completely caught on fire, the skin entirely charred. Off to KFC it was! Then while Sean was washing the dishes, he was feeling a drip on his foot. We looked underneath the kitchen sink and there must have a cracked pipe or something. Our kitchen ended up with water all over the floor. But that is life right?! You just gotta roll with the punches, right?
Tell me how your weekend was!

February Sponsor Highlight

A new month and new sponsors of henning love you have to meet. All of their buttons are on the right side of my blog after my favorite reading. I hope you will go visit them, check out their wonderful blogs and enjoy what they had to about them, their blog and what Valentine's Day treat they are most looking forward to. Thank you girls for sponsoring henning love for February!
p.s. the blogger meet-up in La Jolla was awesome yesterday, definitely a re-cap for sure!

First is Jen of MamaZen:

My name is Jen and I am a twenty-something wife and mother living in the Philadelphia, Pa area.  My  husband, Jason, and our two children are my world!  At mamaZEN, I blog a lot about them and the things that we go through day to day but you will also find coupons, giveaways, reviews, crafting, fashion and whatever else comes my way!

With Valentine's day coming up, the think I am looking forward to is chocolate covered strawberries!  My husband made the switch to these instead of chocolates when I was trying to lose weight after the babies and I think that they are, hands-down, my favorite decadent treat (and I don't feel so guilty when I eat them all ;P)

Then Britt from The Magnolia Pair:

Hi, I'm Britt! I am a new wife in a new city and my blog tells the story to this new adventure. My husband is in medical school and I just started my first big girl job. I dabble in cooking (when I'm not burning the dinner), photography (when I'm not busy dropping my lens) , fashion (when I'm not wearing last years trend), and training our puppy (when I'm not chasing after my sock that's in her mouth.) Come stop by my blog to hear about our trials, tribulations, and triumphs!
I am looking forward to seeing what my husband draws/paints for me for Valentines Day. He is an artsy guy, and loves homemade gifts, and lucky for me, I do too!

My name is Katie and I blog over at . . . for Lauren and Lauren. I am a wife, Jesus follower, sister, aunt, teacher, crafter, runner, and sweets lover.  I started blogging when my sister Lauren, and future sister in law Lauren, convinced me that I should start a blog to share my daily outfits and my etsy shop.  I've been reading blogs for a long time and did not realize what I was missing out on!   I didn't realize what a community there was in blogging and that I could really get to know others.  When I started blogging I thought I would just post pictures of my outfits, but I realize that is such a small piece of what I want to share.  I'm excited for my blog to be a mix of my style and craft projects, but also about what I'm learning in life!

More Awesome Sponsors

Today I have more great sponsors you have to meet! Seriously check out their blogs, you won't regret it. Again, thank you girls for your sponsorship of henning love!

Taylor of The Presutti's

Hey Y'all! I'm Taylor and I blog over at The Presutti's. I'm A Newlywed. Jesus Lover. Runner. Baker. Wife. Mommy to Zoee. Dental Hygienist. Lover. Southern Girl. Wanna be Photographer.

I blog about life, love, food, running, decorating, diy projects, and anything in between!

My favorite valentine's treat has to be the Reese's Heart :)

"hey yall! i'm skye but over on my little slice of the internet i am known as rindercella. my blog is a place where i chronicle my journey of daily life as a full-time 9-5er with dreams of working from home one day. i love all things handmade, panda bears, sticky and Jesus is my homeboy. i'd love to meet you - come on over and say hi!"
My husband and I don't really celebrate Valentine's Day so that is a really hard question… but one of our favorite treats to share are his Mom's amazing chocolate chip cookies! :) I make several batches of them throughout the year and they make us both very happy! :)

Lauren of Sweet Nothings!

Hi everyone! I'm Lauren, and my blog is Sweet Nothings!  I started blogging in August 2011 to document my life, loves, and everything that makes me happy. I'm engaged to my best friend and love of my life. Photography is one of my biggest passions, and you will probably see a lot of it on my blog. Soon after I started blogging, I opened my etsy shop, where I sell some of my photography and canvas paintings. I love to spend my time outdoors, hiking and visiting new places. I also love to cook and bake, and try new recipes! I'd love it if you'd stop by!
My favorite part about Valentine's Day is just relaxing and spending time with Brian. I love chocolate, but by the time Valentine's Day rolls around I'm kind of sick of it. I'd rather just rent a movie, make a romantic dinner, and relax on the couch.

Hi all!!! My name is Darby and I blog at Life with the Hawleys.  I write about anything and everything. There is never a dull moment in our house and of course I’ve always got to share my funny adventures on our blog.  I write about cooking, travel, fashion, my puppies, décor, and my DIY projects. My favorite Valentines treat, is the same treat I gorge on the entire year: chocolate.  I can’t control myself to just one holiday when it comes to chocolate

More sponsors!

Just a few more lovely ladies you have to meet sponsoring henning love this month!
First you have to meet Katie of katie lately!

"Hey! I'm Katie & I blog over at katie lately. That's me on the left of that photo, with my adorable husband on our wedding day. We got married this past July on a beautiful sunny Seattle day. Since getting married we have moved down the coast to San Diego county, and currently live on the side of a mountain and work at a Christian camp! I blog about our move, what I am learning from God lately, crafts, recipes, and all things girly. Since starting my little blog in September, I have had such an amazing time not only growing in my own confidence but also learning & being encouraged by you other bloggers! So please stop by and say hello :)
This year I really took time to think of a New Year's Resolution. I wanted something attainable, something I wouldn't give up on, and something that would reap a benefit. I came up with keeping our house more tidy. My husband likes things to be tidy and even though I have been called a 'human debris trail' more than once, I also dislike clutter. So this is my year! To ensure this is successful, I plan to take more time to look around before I leave one room and move to another, and make sure I don't leave everything behind me & also take a little more time at night to put things in their proper places instead of wherever they land! Overall I hope this really becomes a habit and lasts more than just 2012 [my husband would love that too]!"

Next is Michelle of Making Sense of Cents.
My name is Michelle and I blog over at Making Sense of Cents. I'm 22 and live in the Midwest. I blog about my life and personal finance.  I love clothes, food, travel, family, and LIFE! I started my blog so that I could keep track of my life and where I'm headed. My New Years resolution is to be more healthy. I hate to admit this, but the first time I ever stepped foot into a gym (besides in high school) was just this past year. I'm hoping to work out more, eat healthy and think more about my health. Thanks for reading this, I hope you stop by my blog.

And introducing Breanna of My Crazy, Beautiful Life.

Hi, I'm Breanna! I blog over at My Beautiful, Crazy Life!  I am a 20 year old college student who is trying to make a name for herself, as well as a Christian who tries to live everyday for the Glory of God :) I started blogging in October 2011, but didn't actually begin to get into it until December. I blog about anything that happens along my crazy journey through life :)

My number one New Years Resolution is to get back in shape!
I used to be a runner in high school, but I've been slacking in the whole exercise department ever since. I plan on acheiving this goal by getting a membership at a gym, or maybe even by making a weekly list of exercises to stick to. Hey, it's a start! :)
