Happy Wednesday! Today I am guest posting over at Raines and Shines about an outfit I have been swooning over seen on Pinterest. It is a chambray top with a floral skirt. I already own a chambray top but need a floral skirt to re-create the outfit. Check out the skirt options I am considering over at Emily's blog.

I'm a twenty-something newly married girl living in beautiful Indianapolis, IN. Home of Super Bowl 2012 - yay baby!! I went to college at the University of Indianapolis and graduated in 2007 with a major in Marketing. 

I've had a lot of blogging experience - not only do I read a lot of blogs, but I used to work for a blogging software company and had to blog quite a bit! My husband, my brother in-law, and myself have a marketing consulting and business development company - I love working from home and being responsible for something that we built! Now I know what you're thinking - is it hard working with your husband and family? Nope, they make it easy! We are growing rapidly and that has been the main focus in our lives for some time now - even though we always seem busy, I wouldn't change it!

I have something very important to you to discuss with you. I am 28 and I am noticing sun spots on my face. This does not make me very happy at all. Charred Chicken and a Cracked Kitchen Sink Pipe

I'm sure all of us have had those nights where it just seems to be one thing after another, after another. Yesterday night ended up being one of those nights, first we were grilling chicken on the grill, and the chicken somehow completely caught on fire, the skin entirely charred. Off to KFC it was! Then while Sean was washing the dishes, he was feeling a drip on his foot. We looked underneath the kitchen sink and there must have a cracked pipe or something. Our kitchen ended up with water all over the floor. But that is life right?! You just gotta roll with the punches, right?

This is also my normal make-up routine, starting with Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer. Seriously without this, my eyeshadow is all up in my creases by 10am, not a pretty picture. I have tried drug store brands, especially L'Oreal and nothing can compare to Urban Decay. Plus they changed up their packaging lately so when you get down to the last little bit of primer, it is a lot easier to retrieve. Then I put my eyeliner on before my shadow. I like to put the liner on first because the shadow helps cut down on the exact line look. Then my shadow and finally after curling my lashes my mascara. Here is my eye make-up routine.

Then I put on my eyeliner in a dark brown shade.

Then I put on the Soap Hope Love Potion eyeshadow, curled my eyelashes and then put on my brownish-black mascara.

Hey ladies! Ah it is Monday again and like always the weekend just flew by. Friday night, we had some friends over for dinner, kabobs on the grill! Saturday we took in a movie, the Sherlock Holmes flick, have any of you seen it? I thought it was a pretty good movie which was followed by a dinner out.

Dog-gone adventures and Giveaway!

Family was the name of the game this weekend and yes when I say family I do mean two humans and two dogs, we consider ourselves a family and we like to  spent time together. The family that spends time together stays together. 

I had been wanting to take Kip and Kimbia to Bass Pro Shop for a long long time and finally it happened Friday night. The main reason for the visit? To see how Kip and Kimbia would react to the fish swimming in the stream. Kip loved it! Kimbia could have cared less, she was actually quite frightened by the stuffed animals. Back to Kip, he would have caught dinner if we would have let him.

Of course I had to include a photo of my Sean.

Saturday we headed up to Mt. Baldy with the purpose of playing in the snow,

 however, we failed on the snow. We found a creek and let the dogs play around. 

I had to show you this series! Kimbia fell into the water accidentally and she climbed up on this rock to shake off. You can see sean laughing in the background.

She was ok, just a little shocked she fell into the water.

There were some absolutely gorgeous views up in the mountains.

Lastly, Sean and I took some funny photos.
