Birthday Celebration - How My Man Makes Me Happy

How was your weekend ladies? Anyone have the day off today like me?
Can I get a woohoo for a three day weekend?
What did you do this weekend?
Also, who is going to this little meet-up??

SoCal Blogger Meet-Up
Because if you are, I will see you there!

On Friday, I couldn't wait to get home and change into my leggings and my Sean's oversized sweatshirt just to be comfy and relax. Anyone else need to have those on a Friday night?
Saturday was my birthday celebration and I knew absolutely nothing of the plans and boy was I surprised! All I was told by Sean was what type of attire I needed to wear for each activity.

First thing, Sean had planned for us to do is a bike ride to get breakfast. After my stomach was stuffed by pancakes and Sean's with stuffed french toast, we did a little house touring on our bikes. We like to ride our bikes through the neighborhoods near us just to look at homes and pick what we like and don't like each the homes. Then it was home to watch the Olympic trials marathon on TV and one of our friends was in the race and finished 28th! Oh on the way back from breakfast, Sean had us stop off at a grocery store and he allowed me to select any bouquet of flowers I wanted. My pick?
Thank you my love!

After we watched the race, Sean had the next surprise for me. We drove to downtown Los Angeles, which is about 30 minutes away and went ice-skating outdoors in Pershing Square. He definitely knows how to make me the most happy because I love ice-skating. When I was in 5th and 6th grade, I did some ice-skating competitions and always enjoy the opportunity I can to ice-skate now. Just a few photos from our ice-skating venture.

After ice-skating, we headed back home and I was told to dress up to go out. He took us to this Cuban restaurant and surprised me with 10 of our friends already there! It was a great evening and I couldn't have felt more loved by my husband for all that he did for me for my birthday. He did a terrific job and surprised me continually throughout the day.
Hope you, my fellow friends, felt loved by your family and friends.

Now for a few items of business. First the giveaway winners for the necklace and earrings. Ashley calculated the winner using random.org for the earrings from her Etsy shop and the winner was number 8, Michelle P  of Making Sense of Cents!

Aw, sounds like a really fun birthday! I am debating whether I should go to the SoCal blogger meet up. Its actually just 3 miles down the road from where I live! I don't feel experienced enough to go but I could probably get some great ideas!
