After being married to my husband for almost 6 years, I have come to the conclusion there are two types of people in the world, sauce people and no sauce people. I married a completely saucy person. Sauce on everything, double sauce even. A place that makes their own sauce? Even better according to my husband. It isn't just one sauce he gets, it is multiple sauces, just put sauces on top of sauces is his motto. Me on the other hand? I am a plain jane, no sauce, no condiments, keep it as simple as it comes. Don't add extra stuff if it is unnecessary is my motto.
Sooo if you are a saucy person, this recipe is for you. Summer time is fast approaching, which means bbq, outdoors, and hamburgers and what better to add to your burger is a delicious sauce. Hey, I even put it on my burger we had last night for dinner and that is saying something if I am not a sauce gal.
For this recipe, you need mayo, ketchup, sweet pickle relish, white vinegar, sugar and black pepper.
In a bowl, add 2 tablespoons mayo and 1 tablespoon ketchup. Stir briefly.
Then add in the 1/2 teaspoon sweet pick relish, 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper. Stir again until all ingredients are combined. Refrigerate until ready to eat.
That is it, all you need, all you need to do. So if you like your sauces, try this one, who knows maybe it will become your new favorite sauce!

I am totally a sauce person too! My husband can't ever get over how much ketchup I use! I will have to try this one for sure.
I used to be a "plain and dry" girl and everyone thought I was crazy! But we make a sauce similar to this for hamburgers ever since I ate the sauce at shake shack!
