Charred Chicken and a Cracked Kitchen Sink Pipe

I'm sure all of us have had those nights where it just seems to be one thing after another, after another. Yesterday night ended up being one of those nights, first we were grilling chicken on the grill, and the chicken somehow completely caught on fire, the skin entirely charred. Off to KFC it was! Then while Sean was washing the dishes, he was feeling a drip on his foot. We looked underneath the kitchen sink and there must have a cracked pipe or something. Our kitchen ended up with water all over the floor. But that is life right?! You just gotta roll with the punches, right?

I'm sorry to hear that the chicken ended up charred, but at least you still rolled with the punches. Last night, we were supposed to make dinner, but after a little tiff with M's aunt, we decided to make some drinks and then order pizza. Then proceeded to let on the couch watching TV for several hours straight. I'm not complaining ;)

Oh my gosh that sounds like my last Thursday. I came home to a burnt out light in our bathroom and leaking kitchen sink pipe too. I woke up Friday off to a bad start because I had to shower in the dark and I was annoyed with the unusable sink. Then my car wouldn't start! Talk about one thing after another!! Our kitchen sink still isn't fixed. I feel ghetto.

Ughhh...I hate it when those things just come out of no where! I definitely charred some veggies the other night, thankfully we just rolled with it...sometimes that's all you can do!

That's a bummer about your chicken! But you are so smart to just roll with the punches. :)

Things always seem to go wrong when things go bad! I remember I had just cleaned the kitchen and was exhausted and cranky and I tried to open a giant pickle jar and it slid off the counter and broke and pickles everywhere, juice everywhere. Had to clean it up and and then mop! Was so mad!!

What a night! Glad KFC was to the rescue. I follow you guys, that headband is too cute. And thanks for the encouragement about my photos, we will see if anything happens! For now, it is just fun :)

I feel like I have those days about once a week! But hey, KFC is a fine replacement! Oh and that headband is adorable! :)

Oh dear!! I hope your KFC was enjoyable! I definitely question the universe when things start happening all at the same time! Our TV just stopped working in our bedroom during the Oscars last Sunday. It would have cost the same to fix the old one as it did to buy a new one. Go figure! Happy Monday!! :D

Aw man...what a bummer for an end to your weekend. So happy KFC could save your dinner! Hope it wasn't too much trouble to clean up the kitchen!

Aw, I hate when stuff like that happens! I don't know what's worse, burnt chicken, or raw chicken because there's no propane to grill with!
