I am...

a hopeless romantic.

I am the girl that wishes that romantic movies happened in real life.
I am the girl who can't wait to see movies like The Vow and The Lucky One (view the trailer over at Emma's blog)

I am the girl that wishes her husband would sweep her off her feet and take her on mushy gushy dates.

I am the girl that didn't like Valentine's Day growing up because I never had a Valentine and want to celebrate it now when I am married.

I am the girl that loves hand-written love notes.

I am the girl that wishes each night, I would come home to find my husband making dinner already with a vase full of flowers for me.

I am the girl who believes in kissing each night before we go to bed and holding hands any chance we get.

I am the girl that believes in dating each other long after the wedding ceremony occurs.

I am the girl that believes in meeting each other love language (if you haven't heard about love languages, please ask, I'm be happy to inform you :-)

I am the girl that loves receiving sweet texts in the middle of the day.

I am the girl that pretends to not be in love with love and romance but really I AM.

When you find love, sew it up tight, don't let any loose threads hang out or else, it will begin to unravel itself. Eventually that thread will be full of knots and you won't be able to tell where the thread begins and ends.

What type of girl are you?

I am seriously right there with you! I'm single and I still love Valentine's Day, it's so sweet and seeing everyone in love just makes my day! I'm really looking forward to the Vow! I hope it delivers like I want it to!

I am a total hopeless romantic. I have always imagined meeting my future husband in a Starbucks..or at a Broadway production (although most guys at Broadway shows are already in a relationship or married. Ha). =)

I really love those pictures. :) Sums up my Valentine's pretty well. I'm all about the husband cooking at home with a bottle of wine, music, and fresh flowers. A night out, Broadway show, and dessert late night are always good too! I really fall for a sincerely written card though. That's my ultimate love token. This is such a sweet post. I'm definitely a hopeless romantic. My boyfriend and I call February "love month" and try to tell each other (more than usual) the things we love about each other. I love it!

I too am a hopeless romantic! Hubby and I are on a tight budget this year with soon to be 2 under 2...yikes! My goal for Valentines is to hit up the Dollar Tree with Pax and find some special goodies to gift Hubs...and if we can't find anything then it will be heart pancakes for a special family valentines day breakfast!

A vase of flowers and dinner being made? I am that girl too.

I am also the girl that likes to stay in rather than going out. Putting on makeup is such a chore to me. Frozen yogurt in bed? Yes, please!

I think every girl who was raised watching Disney films & reading fairy tales is a hopeless romantic. So count me in! Beautiful post. And yes, preach on about Love Languages. My hubs & I loved Gary Chapman's book!

Meg! So bummed we missed meeting yesterday at the SoCal Blogger event. There were so many girls there!

This is a darling post. I have never been much of a romantic (maybe it's because I hate crying? Haha!) but it's refreshing to read your entry word-for-word and soak in the feelings that it gave me about my amazing husband. He is the "romantic" out of the two of us, and it just made me smile thinking about it :) I could always use tips on becoming a better Godly wife!

Best,
Kristina
