Farm Chic - Oh Pinteresting Wednesday

As I mentioned I am changing the decor on my living room, sprucing things up a bit and improving from what I considered a bit drag that was lackluster to bright, beautiful, warm and inviting. Enter country chic! That is the look I am aiming for whether I complete it all in one day or a little bit at a time. I already have my lampshade, the striped rug, I'm thinking maybe some feed bag pillows, yes or no? I have another complete house project for your viewing pleasure :-)

For this project you need a wreath, twine and glue.
You start by gluing the end of the twine to the wreath and then just wrap the twine around and around and around.
Then you have to wrap the twine around some more until you used up the entire thing. I think I put about three layers of twine all together.
Then when you are finished this is what you get!

I added the paper flowers for a creative touch and here is a photo of it hanging on the wall in my living room.

This project leads me to some pins I have of country chic accessories that I would love to have in
my living room to accompany my wreath and the lampshade I made.
Of course I am linking up over at The Vintage Apple for Oh Pinteresting Wednesday.
