Favorite part of 4th of July

I did my 4th of July post already , I know, but I wanted to show you my favorite part of the holiday. The fireworks! I don't know what it is but I love the fireworks. To me, if I don't view fireworks somewhere on the 4th then the holiday feels incomplete to me. Is there something particular that you must have to make it feel like the holiday or am I the only one? So yesterday we met up with some friends to watch the fireworks show. Apparently, each year at this firework's show there is a theme and this year's theme was American Independence.
First before the fireworks photos, I took a few pictures of the beautiful sky, it was threatening to rain a bit and fortunately it didn't but it did create some awesome cloud photos. Take a look!

Now on to my favorite part, the fireworks! I think the reason I love fireworks so much is because when we lived in Japan during all four years of high school for me (that is another story if you want to ask) in August it is always the perfect summer evening to spend with your family and friends watching the hanabi (how you say fireworks in Japanese). Anyways I know it isn't on 4th of July (duh it is August) but it always invokes such great memories whenever I watch fireworks. I remember the packed train leaving the station after fireworks, all the yummy summery foods and the summer yukatas (Japanese robes) with all the creative designs. Ok, I am sorry for boring you long enough here are the fireworks!

Oh and other exciting new, I won my first blog giveaway sponsored by the lovely 33 Shades of Green and Shabby Apple. I am so excited, I couldn't believe it when I received the email from Alissa. She is super sweet to have sponsored it and I am looking forward to receiving my gift from Shabby Apple.

Lovely, lovely pictures! Sounds like you had a lot of fun. I was watching the fireworks from a building in the city, it was so pretty!
