Christmas Cookie Week - Chocolate Cinnamon Snowballs

*Last day to enter my giveaway for earrings from BluHour, you don't wanna miss out!

We made it to Friday, and this is the final day of my Christmas cookie week. Thank you all for following and supporting my little blog. Seriously, each of you with your comments make me smile and I appreciate it more than I could express to you all :-)
I've got some exciting things lined up next week, a swap with an awesome blogger and plenty of Christmas cheer here on the blog.
For this last day of the Christmas cookie series, I tried a new recipe that might just be on my must make list each year, Chocolate Cinnamon Snowballs.
This recipe might just be the easiest thing you do all this week, well besides sleeping and eating.

First, gather together your ingredients: 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened, 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon, 2 cups all-purpose flour, additional powdered sugar for covering cookies after baked.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cream your butter.
Then add in the powdered sugar, cocoa, vanilla and ground cinnamon.
Mix all these ingredients together.
Add in the flour gradually and mix.

Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on a greased baking sheet.
Pop your cookies into the oven for 8-10 minutes.
Take the cookies out of the oven and roll the cookies immediately into powdered sugar. Then place on a rack to cool. Serve, eat and enjoy!

Here is a tin you can remake to package these cookies and you get to paint the top with chalkboard paint!

I am not that crafty but the tin is so cute, probably something I could manage. I haven't gotten any cookie platters from friends. I am hoping any day now.......
