five years...

Next month, Sean and I will celebrate 5 years of anniversary. 5 years of marriedness, 5 years of knowing each other more good and bad and 5 years of all that mush and hard stuff that occurs in marriage. If you are married, do you ever look back at your wedding and wonder if you were getting married now, would you pick the same wedding dress, the same color scheme and the same bridesmaids dresses. I admit at times I look at dresses or the current trends of wedding of what I would select or how I would design my wedding today.

If you know last year my husband and I with Caleb in tow to ALL the weddings attended 7 weddings and there would have been more but some of the weddings were on the same day so we had to decline a few. One of the weddings we attended was a patriotic theme, which was near Flag Day and we all waved mini American flags as the happy couple walked down the aisle! I used that wedding to help me create a patriotic bridesmaid style. Plus Independence Day, July 4 will be here before you know it! You cant help but feel patriotic and proud of the red, white and blue in this chic bridesmaid look! Want to find some more chic bridesmaids dresses? Weddington Way has some awesome bridesmaid dresses, be sure to check them out!

And so far this year we have only attended 1 wedding and don't have any more on the horizon. Good thing because I need a break from all the wedding foods, drinks and cake!
