Sean asked me the other day if I needed help with blog post topics and to be honest I do. Some times we bloggers fall into a lack of creativity rut or we need a new perspective to help come up with new blog post topics. Sean even suggested he post for me this week so watch for that! This post is thought up entirely of Sean, thank you honey!
Today I wanted to share with you the top 5 places I have ever visited. I have been fortunate enough to have had a lot of traveling worldwide in my 29 years. It does help when your father is in the Air Force and you are stationed in Japan for four years. Also traveling between California and Tokyo during three years of college helps rack up those airline miles as well. In no particular order because it would too hard to do, these are my top 5 places I have ever visited.
1. Florence
2. Prague
3. Singapore (remember it is not only a country but also a city)
4. New York
5. St. Kitts
Why Florence? My friend Laura, who was one of my bridesmaids, and I went to Italy in 2007 together. We traveled from Rome up to Perugia to Florence and finally ended in Venice. We planned to stay a short time in Florence and a bit longer in Venice. Pretty immediately upon our arrival in Florence, we both looked at each other and decided to stay longer in Florence and cut our time in Venice. Florence was just so beautiful. Why was it so beautiful? That is hard to describe in words to be honest. You just have to visit Florence.
Why Prague? I visited Prague with my roommate when I studied abroad in Vienna during my junior year of college. She was Italian and had a friend studying in Prague. It was great because we were with someone who knew the city, how to get around, where to eat and the best sights to see.
The architecture was amazing, plus since it was part of the Communist bloc you notice the old everything is the same paint on the building. Walking across the Charles Bridge was amazing. It was just a fantastic weekend.
3. Singapore was a favorite because it was a trip that my mom, my sister and I went on. Singapore is such a mixture of different people groups. In one day we walked from Chinatown to Little India to Arabic Town. I have lots of great memories of visiting Singapore, one of how clean it was, how yummy the food was etc.
4. New York, well it was New York. I was there for a conference and we had one day in New York and I was there with two friends and we attempted to see everything we could in one day!
Did I mention it was Fleet Week when we were there? Yah, Fleet Week.
5. St. Kitts was a wonderful place to visit because it felt like a true Caribbean island, the kind you think eh you know with the laid back, everything is alright man type of attitude. It wasn't a US commonwealth, so there wasn't the American influence. Sean and I had a wonderful time on that island with lots of great memories, restaurants by the beach, gorgeous ocean views. The people were so warm and friendly too.
What have been some of your places you have ever visited? Any must visits you have for me?

Prague is definitely one of my favorite cities that I have visited. I lived in the Czech Republic for a year, and while I didn't live in Prague- I was able to visit multiple times...it's just such a gorgeous city!! My favorite place is definitely standing on Charles Bridge looking up at the castle.

I'm so in love with Florence! For my honeymoon, we went to Amsterdam, Barcelona, Florence and the Cinque Terre. There's something about the atmosphere in Florence.. It was amazing. Soon, we're leaving for two weeks in Thailand! You can check out my travels on gotnowheretogo.blogspot.com!

I loved Florence too! Another favourite city of mine is Banff, Alberta!
I am super happy Prague made the list! It is in my top 5 too and people usually look at me weird. I think it is because they forget about the Czech Republic :)
