Seattle Part 1!

Holy weekend!! This month has been nonstop traveling for Sean and I. I did a solo trip up to the central coast this weekend, to see my aunt and uncle and then to attend Sean's best friend's wife's baby shower.  As of right now, there aren't any mini trips planned for a few but you never know :-)
This is the first re-cap of our trip to Seattle. As I mentioned, the reason for the trip was to see my brother graduate with his undergraduate degree from Seattle University. This is the third time I have been to Seattle but Sean's first so he had to see everything that Seattle had to offer. We stayed near the Seattle Center and it ended up being very convenient, which the area of Seattle I am going to focus today.
Let's start with a classic Seattle image.

In the area around the Space Needle, there is the International Foundation, which sprays water synchronized to music. Sometimes the water will turn off completely in between songs and all these kids playing in the fountain were too timid to touch the half dome. Then an older gentleman touched the dome then suddenly all the kids touched the dome, being wet free except one girl who was a little too late and got all wet when the music and foundation resumed play.

The EMP museum is housed at the Seattle Center, and the same architect who designed the building designed the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles.

Some other views around the Seattle Center.

Ill be back on Wednesday to share more about my trip because tomorrow is bachelorette link-up bash! Happy Monday all!
