V-Day Date with My Man

So how was your Valentines Day? Full of love, chocolates and flowers? I went to bed last night realizing that I didn't have a single piece of chocolate, yah that means today I will probably go into chocolate overload.
Last night, Sean and I did venture out to a restaurant to celebrate Valentine's Day. Sean planned for us to go to a restaurant that a) doesn't take reservations, it is first come first seated and b) their menu is the same every day, so no super-sized prices just because it was Valentine's Day.
So what did we do last night? Sean combined two of our first few dates into our Valentine's Day date yesterday, a burger place and then a jazz club called Hip Kitty.
I mentioned this place, Back Abbey, before and shared these delicious photos. Yesterday, I was too hungry to wait and snap a few photos of our burgers. But that is what we always order, burgers and fries. They have a great menu but we have never ventured outside of our normal but awesome burgers.
Dinner:

After gorging on these burgers and fries, we headed over to a place called Hip Kitty, a jazz club that serves fondue. Hip Kitty was another one of our first dates, way back almost 5 years ago (!).
The Hip Kitty is located in a former packing house that packed lemons and other citrus fruits. The general area where Sean and I live in Southern California used to be citrus orchards and this packing house was saved and has been renovated into a mixed-use building, so a few restaurants, businesses, art studios and some apartments.
I took some snapshots of different areas of the packing house.

Then some outfit photos, sorry those have been lacking on the blog lately. When I don't have a job to dress up for every day, well my outfits aren't very creative.

Of course had to share one of me and my Valentine.
Hope you all had a great Valentine's Day.
Have a wonderful weekend and come back on Monday to read about what fun adventures Sean and I with his best friend, Joey, and his wife, Nicole, who are coming to spend the weekend with us.

That food looks delicious. I've been craving a good burger for a while now. Yum!

I didn't have any chocolate yesterday either. Totally weird since I usually have some every day. ;)

Have fun with friends this weekend!

Fries are seriously my biggest weakness - if there are fries on a menu (especially if there are lots of things to dip them in!) I will order them and feel 0% shame. These made my mouth water! (and even as a vegetarian, I'll say that the burger looks delish too).
You are so gorgeous and I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the day - even without chocolate :)

That looks like such a fun date! We had bible study last night, so we had to celebrate on Wednesday. We went ALL OUT because the husband was gifted a prepaid visa at a sales conference last week, and when it's on the "company's dime", why the heck not? haha
