Daily Reads

Along with blogs, I have a few daily reads that enrich my day and reading these books or devotions are like a breath of fresh air to me. The books in the photo are mentioned top to bottom.
The first, A Sudden Glory, was a birthday present from my mom. Have you ever have a feeling that you were wanting something more but you didn't know how to grasp that something more? Do you ever feel like there is more to the current relationship you have with God but not sure how to achieve it? This book is for that aching heart that longs for a deeper relationship and teaches how to pursue that "glory ache" the wanting more into a more glorify-filled relationship.

The middle book is of course the most important book, the source where the other two books get their purpose from. Without the middle book, the Bible, the two other books wouldn't be on shelves in stores or online. The Bible is the best book hands down and not a day should go by without me picking it up and reading it. My day is better after I spend time in God's word, my attitude is much better and my outlook on any current situations in my life seem is improved.

The third book, Living the Proverbs is a recent addition. It is a 26 week book focusing on the book of Proverbs, which is a practical book, a book of wisdom and it breaks Proverbs down into a practical sense. Not like a textbook sense but a practical, this book makes more sense sense type of book. If you are looking for a good in-depth study of Proverbs, I highly recommend this book.

I love being able to gleam from people who have received revelation from God on a certain subject! Their revelation becomes contagious!
