Christmas Festive-ness!

*Today is the last day to enter my giveaway for a Datevitation coupon book.
One of my favorite things about the Christmas season is the extra baking I get to do to give out as gifts to our friends, family and co-workers. I made these chocolate filled cookie cutters, so they get two gifts in one, some chocolate and then a cookie cutter they can use this and the following Christmas seasons.
The cookie cutters.

Melt chocolate and be sure not to burn it.

I also melted white chocolate

I crushed up some peppermint sticks to sprinkle on the top of the melted chocolate.

We also are addressing and sending out our Christmas cards this week too. Here is our Christmas card! I won a giveaway for a Christmas card from Jillian's Etsy shop, Bella Carta Boutique. She was great to work with, prompt with her emails and they came super fast. If any of you are looking for Christmas cards next time, I definitely recommend Jillian.

That's a bit of festive-ness for you all today! Ill have more Christmas festive-ness for you next week here on the blog because it is my second annual Christmas cookie week, 5 days, 5 different Christmas cookies.

Cute card! Yup, one of my favorite things about the holidays is baking. And I usually end up giving most of my baked goods away so I don't eat them all : )

i love your Christmas card! i really need to do something neat like this next year :)

If you haven't already, don't put the chocolate with candy canes in the fridge. I made truffles with crushed candy canes on the outside, and it sort of melted and definitely is not in pretty pieces anymore! :(
