Thanksgiving is Next Week!

Do you realize, peoples of America, that Thanksgiving is next week? This year Sean's parents are coming to eat turkey day with us. I have not planned the menu yet and I should probably get on that or else thank goodness Jack in the Box is open. Do they serve turkey sandwiches? It may be only four us around the Thanksgiving table but I like a nice table, with a centerpiece and name cards, in case anyone forgot theirs. I pulled together a few easy and simple Thanksgiving table centerpiece tables and will let you look at them as I start making the Thanksgiving menu, can anyone say Dominos?
p.s. Sean's parents, I am totally kidding about Jack in the Box and Dominos!

Tomorrow, Elizabeth Ann of Elizabeth Ann's Recipe Box, Allison of Cupcake Diaries and Whitney of Harvest Home and I are hosting another link-up this time featuring Thanksgiving foods, decorations or anything Thanksgiving! Ill be sharing my family's cranberry sauce, not of a can because homemade is always better!
Hope you will join us tomorrow.

I love the candles with the acorns. I have so many acorns in my yard and could make that. Thanks for the inspiration! I'm sure your table will be beautiful!

I never thought of wrapping candles with green beans or asparagus! Great idea. Haha, Jack in the Box and Dominos... I always feel bad for people I see eating fast food on Thanksgiving. Makes me want to take them some turkey!!

I seriously love Thanksgiving. Sometimes I feel sad that it's overshadowed by Christmas. Any holiday where I can eat ALL day, is a winner for me!

love this fall decor, but I know it would never look like that in my house!

Oh I love the candle wrapped in in the Indian corn! I'm so excited for Thanksgiving...it's definitely one of my favorite days of the year!

I'm a big believer that the food is the centerpiece! LOL With all the food we have... there is no room for any centerpieces. But I know anything you have on the table will be perfect and so will the day as long as Jack in the Box isn't your meal. ;)

I think the white candle with the corn cobbs is really cute!

I'm not ready. My parents are flying into town...this will be the first time my mother has flown in over 20 years. (man, grandkids will make parents do things out of their comfort zone). hopefully she'll be to distracted by the baby to not notice the chaos my house is in!

Good grief! Thanksgiving SNUCK up on me for reals. Maybe because it's still 70 degrees in Oklahoma? Yes, that might be it.

We haven't had a chance to have Thanksgiving or Christmas at our house yet because our parents both always plan dinners. Even though you have to clean and do the bulk of the cooking, I bet it's nice to stay home!

How exciting! Happy menu planning! Those center pieces are so pretty, I have always loved a formal dinner table with center pieces and all!

Love those table settings; and please don't remind me how soon Thanksgiving is. I still need to bake like a million pies. Ugh.

I love the idea of using fresh vegetables! Especially the artichoke.

Haha, it does feel like a lot of pressure to host Thanksgiving, doesn't it??? (c: I remember freaking out...but judging from your cranberry relish, you have absolutely nothing to worry about! And it looks like the table is going to be lovely as well!!!
