August Sponsors

Today I have four lovely ladies for you to meet, to check out their blog and follow them!!
For sponsorships, I asked each blogger to provide me a photo, a blurb about them and their blog and answer a question that changes monthly. This month's question is what do you do in August to cool off from the heat?

First up is Lauren of Girls Gone Food.
My name is Lauren and I'm a 20-something year old that loves to find the fun in life. One of my passions has always been food. There is just something about its entertainment quality and ability to bring people together that is really special. Starting sometime in college, I discovered my love for cooking. Since then, I haven't really stopped. I put a lot of love and care into everything I make, and wanted to create a blog to showcase that. I love to entertain, so my blog has tons of fun party recipes and drinks.

What do I do in August to cool off?
My favorite thing to do in August is to go to the beach. In my opinion, having a cold beer in my hand and feeling the wind in my hair is the best way to cool off!

Next meet Danae of danae marie.
Hello! My name is Danae Marie. Allow me to introduce myself:
I am an optimist, eager to see the light and good in life.
I deeply desire to see women empowered all over the world.
I wish every woman could see the strength and beauty she holds within.
I wish she knew how powerful her beauty is and how she can change lives.
Things I love include: God, words, competing, creativity, art/photography, and people.
Things I write about:

- My experiences as a collegiate athlete
- Motivation and tips for healthy living
- Thoughts about our purpose in life
- My aspirations as a creative writer/photographer
- Real life from a real girl who cares so much about the world and hopes she can make a difference with her life.

What do I do in the heat of August to cool off?

As a native West Michigander, it’s simple: I plan a trip to glorious Lake Michigan with my girlfriends! The water is shockingly cold! But on hot days it’s deliciously refreshing. I love feeling the toasty sand under my feet and laughing with my homies. Oooh the grand, dog days of summer, I will love you forever

And Regina of Live Delightfully
Hi y'all, I'm Regina and I blog over at Live Delightfully, and run an Etsy shop by the same name. Just a little bit about me: I'm married to a preacher; we our foster parents to the two cutest little boys in the entire world (and we're hoping we get to keep them); I love fashion; I love to cook, sew, bake, paint, read, write, garden, and many other creative things. My family is what keeps me going, my creativity is what keeps me sane. My blog is an inspirational, lifestyle blog about life as a foster momma, DIYs, recipes, handmade goods, fashion, and just all things that delight me. My Etsy shop has various nursery and children’s room décor.

I’m just a down-to-earth, fun-loving, Southern gal who is working towards her dream of being a Christian woman, great wife, awesome momma, writer, and designer specializing in nurseries and children’s rooms. I believe in laughter, magic, true love, God, the power of prayer, rainbows and kittens, buying handmade, wishing on shooting stars, and helping others. Stop by my blog or Facebook page and say HI, or send me a tweet! I love meeting new people and chit-chatting!

What do you do to cool off from the August heat?
August is a great month for us. By the time August rolls around our summer is winding down. We aren't travelling anymore, and Joey isn't gone to church camps. It's great to have that down time to reconnect and since we're big movie lovers, we beat the heat by staying in, or going out to the movies and seeing some of the big summer blockbusters. It's also the time for our town's annual Watermelon Round-up Festival so we have a great time going to that, eating fair food and all the ice cold watermelon we can eat, and shopping at booth's set up by local craftsmen and women.

Finally Laurie of Love, Laurie

Hi, my name is Laurie and I blog over at Love, Laurie.  I live in Northeastern Pennsylvania with my husband, Ryan, and our kitten, Leko.  For fun, we love to ride our bikes, enjoy the outdoors, and explore new places.  We absolutely love cooking and baking too!  My blog is about my day-to-day life with my husband.  I started my blog in October of 2011 as a way to share snapshots of our lives with family and friends.  Since then, I have picked up a few extra readers along the way, and I have really enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people through blogging.
