Bacholerette Episode #8

Did you enter my SkincareRx $20 giveaway?  You have until July 11 to do so.
Before we discuss the hometown dates and last night's episode, I saw this last week on Heidi's blog and can't stop laughing for some reason. I had to share this with you all.

Chris's hometown:
All I can is I am ready for Chris to go home already, is anyone else with me? Ok I have a confession, I didn't start watching last night's episode until Jef's hometown because Sean and I were at Home Depot buying supplies to make the game, ladder ball. But I was down with Chris last week so I wasn't too disappointed I missed his hometown.

Jef's hometown:
It is interesting to see the reversal of when the guys plan the hometown date and shooting that was cute. Sean commented on their picture perfect hay bench and background saying, it is too perfect.
I thought Emily would fit in perfectly with Jef's siblings, his sisters were really sweet.

Arie's hometown:
Hm.. Arie picking Indy car, risking choice there dude. It was cute Emily was really dressed up during their picnic and Arie was wearing his white t-shirt and jeans. I thought Arie you weren't calming Emily down at all about meeting your mother, you were actually making me nervous to meet her, although that would never happen. That I love you so they will love you line was really smooth Arie. Emily you better learn Dutch real fast if you are to marry Arie.

Sean's hometown:
My outfit by far out of the four hometowns was Sean's, that dress of hers was absolutely gorgeous and I love it and want it. How many picnics can a girl go on before she gets tired of them do you think? I think Emily's daughter would love to play in Sean's backyard and would have instant cousins. That was a cruel joke to play on Emily, I was gonna say the perfection curtain has fallen down but nope, it was a joke! Sean's daddy was so sweet, and I love how he said there is something magical going on here. Why is Sean always running? Running to get another kiss?

Rose ceremony:
Always so dramatic of course and like I said in Chris's hometown date, it was time. Chris the odds are not in your favor because only one guy will be left standing, and you had a 25% chance but sorry that quarter just didn't have your name on it. Chris, I know it is hard but if Emily made you a believer in love, you will find another girl who will make you a believer again.

Why Emily is a girl after my own heart, because she goes to Prague and because she goes to Curacao, both places I absolutely loved when I visited.
Until the next Bachelorette episode...
p.s. Sean's family seems like quite a bunch of jokesters.

I was like, seriously, the guy lives at home? There's no way!! I think he made that joke go on for so long, I would need proof that he didn't live there! But I think Sean is just so, so so cute! I also thought Jef's note was adorable!

1) I definitely fell for Sean's joke, but I laughed afterwards and it made me like him more. 2) Jef is still my favorite! 3) I am 100% with you on Chris going home. I thought he was going to pass out every rose ceremony!

So glad I found your blog last week!

It was definitely time for Chirs to go home! Although I feel bad that he couldn't see how much further along in the relationship she was with the other guys. I totally called Sean, Jef & Arie being the top 3 right after the first episode aired!

I knew Sean was playing a joke when I saw all the random stuff in his "room." There's no way that his parents would have let his room look like that knowing they were going to have Emily coming there. But I'm glad she got to see his family as fun and open to being goofy. He is still my favorite!

I was shocked when he said he lived at home & then that room! Thank goodness that was a joke! I don't know who I like better, Sean or Jef!!??

i love your blog name by the name it fits the description of me, shopping and running love them both! i have to admit i did fall for sean's joke too and I thought what an awful thing to do tell her in front of his whole family, ugh! But glad she could laugh it off

Tem Jef all the way... though it took me a while to get there. I really do think they are nice complements, they balance each other out. I think her family is pretty realistic about marriage too. Jef makes her MELT. After he read the letter, there were no words.

Sean is great, and I LOVED his family. I agree, his dad was the cutest, sweetest thing. They are jokesters, but in a fun way. I really liked them too.

Chris is such a weeny! I hate it when men throw tantrums on their way out. Ben Syndrome.

I was ready for Chris to go home too! I have been Team Arie all along but now I think I like Sean and Jeff more. And I really want Emily's dress from her day with Sean...it was adorable. We must find it! =)

Loving your recaps! I can't decide if I'm Team Jef or Team Sean. I was Team Arie for a long time, but I'm kind over him now!

Love your recaps and I am totally with you on everything you said. Chris was too emotional. Crying, mad, sad... get over it guy and man up. You are on a game show! Jef's family was sweet, but I dont' see him leaving his family and I don't see Emily moving to Utah. Ummm... Ari's mom was terrifying. And seriously... so rude to talk in Dutch in front of her like that. But I see Emily liking that family. And Sean... such a normal but fantastic guy. I think it will come down to those two - Ari and Sean. But do you really think Emily is interested in being serious about a relationship with either guy? I am not so sure.

Totally agree that it was time for Chris to go. I loved Sean's family, and his dad is the sweetest! But seriously, why is Sean always running after her, and yelling, "Emily! Emily!"?! It's just too cheesy for me. Regardless, I think he's a good guy. I think they're all good guys really, and ANY of these guys would be better for her than Brad was!

Thank God Chris went home! He was getting a little too childish for me.
I was shocked when Sean said he lived at home. Thankfully he was joking! I don't really like him though. There is something about him that gets under my skin...no flaws...not possible.
Jef - I am in love. Great family, sweet ranch, cool style, fun, PERFECT letter!
Arie - I was worried about his family and still am. His sister seemed really distant. I can't see Emily mixing with them even though I like Arie.

Cannot wait until next Monday!!

I'm almost always delayed on watching my episodes, so I just finished it this afternoon. I was over Chris too, time to go buddy. And I know so much of this show is editing, but it looks (from what they show) that he's got an angry/freak-out streak in him. Over it.

I am also over Arie. I like him, but not as much as Jef and Sean. Right now, I'm leaning more towards Team Jef... :)

So they are saying Jef is the guy. But I almost barfed when Emily and Sean kissed and I saw the tongue. She seems so smitten with Arie but I think they do the show that way. I wasn't all thrilled with the outfits last night. I will be copying the tshirt and long sleeve look this winter for sure.
