Happy Sunday! Hope you all are having a great weekend preparing for the upcoming holidays, whether it be shopping or baking or decorating.
I have to tell you the story of us getting our Christmas tree the other night. I won't reveal the finished product because I am saving that for a special surprise but I will tell you the funny story, ok at least it is funny to me. Sean comes home Tuesday night and suggests we go look for our tree later that night. We finally head out about 8pm and go to the first lot, it was an independent lot and the trees were really nice, none of them really stood out to us.

Then we decided to head to Home Depot, and that lot is huge. It was divided into different areas depending on the type of tree and the height of us. Our perfect tree was going to be a Noble 5-6ft. Apparently everyone else decided that was their perfect tree too because that section was really picked over. The last trees there were already turning brown and I put my foot down on putting up a dead tree in our house.
We quickly drove over to Costco because we heard they had trees but they were putting them away for the night. We hurried over to Walmart at 8:45pm, we started looking at trees there. We went straight to the nobles, picked up two or three trees and then decided one of them was perfect. However, there was no one there to help us out. So we got a shopping cart, promptly put our tree in there and headed to the check-out. We pretty much looked like this:
Except we didn't put a bag of Snyders pretzels and our tree was tied up anymore. And people please do not put us on the people of Wal-mart website. We pushed our tree all through Wal-mart, straight to the check out line, where we told the cashier, ring us up! And that is the story of our Christmas tree. I had gone to Christmas tree lots, went to chop down our own tree but never have I put our Christmas tree in a shopping cart like I would put groceries in my shopping cart. The end.
And tomorrow!!!
