Weekend fun

Happy Monday! Ugh it is hard to have to be at work today when I knew last week I had today off, oh well, back to the grind, however, I have lots to look forward to and lots to live for so that is what keeps me going! How was your weekend all? Mine was wonderful, had a date night with my husband, pizza, frozen yogurt and taking our dogs to the park to play monkey in the middle with them!
Saturday morning, I had to do some house prep work for some wonderful friends we were having over for dinner that night. What did I make? Sangria, and strawberry shortcakes, roasted salsa and tacos. Our friends brought some melon and Caesar salad.

I didn't have a pitcher so I used a vase instead, worked just as well!

I used three citruses, lime, lemon and orange
We had a wonderful dinner with our friends and actually we used the fire pit that my husband has had in his backyard since he moved into the place 3 years ago and has never used it. Maybe next time we should make s'mores!

Sunday my Sean and I taught Sunday school at our church, I always look forward to this part of the week. We teach 3rd graders and they are so much fun. In the afternoon, I hung otu with a friend and we got a pedicure. I would post a picture, but I'm not a fan of feet and the color of polish I picked, it was a coral color turned out orange in the photos so posting a photo wouldn't do the color justice. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I'd love to hear what you all did. Remember, just keep smiling!

Mmmm I love sangria! Friday night we had dinner and spent the night at my cousin's house and Saturday night we went to a baseball game. It was hot but luckily there were lots of refreshments to keep us cool :)

This sounds like such a fun weekend! I like how you used a vase instead of a pitcher - so clever! I'm following you now :)
