Last week, Caleb and I had met one of my friend's for lunch at Corner Bakery if you know what that place is. As we were going into the place, I asked Caleb what he wanted for lunch and he said tacos. Well you can't order tacos at Corner Bakery but I think it goes to say that we eat a lot of tacos in my house. Caleb knows what is good to eat. You know what else is good, this homemade taco seasoning. Don't buy that prepackaged stuff, this taco mixture is the real deal, plus it is just spices and herbs, no extra fillers or additives.
Make it. Brown some ground beef or turkey if you want healthier tacos, then sprinkle this taco seasoning, spoon in some soft or hard taco shells and eat and enjoy!
For this taco seasoning you need: 1 tablespoon chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon onion powder, 1/4 crushed red pepper flake, 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon paprika, 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, 1 teaspoon ground pepper, 1 teaspoon salt. *I omitted the red pepper flake for Caleb.
And there you go, the easiest, most delicious tasting taco seasoning ever!

YUMM!!!! I love making homemade taco seasoning. It's gross to read ingredients on labels. But I can't help myself anymore! That's a huge bonus to cooking at home, you know exactly what's going in your food!!
Yum!! I make my own too, so good. Now I want tacos...

I love making my own seasonings! They are so much better, I have a stock of taco, fajita, and beef stew seasoning. So delicious.
YUM! I think tacos have become my favorite food. Definitely going to pass this recipe on to my momma. :)
I've been wanting to make this for a while. It looks so good and I love to make things at my home so that I actually know what's in it. Do you make extra and keep it around for later?
