You might think I'm weird because... vol. 2

*you still have until Sunday night to enter my Freshly Picked giveaway, enter here!
Since this post seemed to be so popular last week I figured lets do a second edition!

You might think I'm weird because since Sean and I moved into this house last September we don't have a microwave. The microwave at our old place was the attached/above the stove type and we just haven't purchased a counter top microwave, another reason we haven't is we have run out of counter space in the kitchen to place the microwave so microwave-free we have been since then :-)

I love eating cake but I don't eat the actual cake part, just the frosting. I eat frosting

I still forget at times that I am 30, I don't feel it, I don't think about it but when I do, I say to myself oh yah right I am and move on.

Speaking of age, I freaked out when I turned 29, I didn't even bat an eye when I turned 30. I freaked out at 29 because that was the age my mom was when she had me. I think when I turned 30 I was too distracted with being 37 weeks pregnant.

Only recently did I start dipping my French fries in ketchup, before that it was plain jane fries for me, not dipping, no nothing.

I am as plain as can be when it comes to condiments or dipping sauces, I just don't. At Chick Fil-a with their multiple sauces, I skip past all of that and eat my sandwich as it.

I love drawers and cabinet doors slightly open, I don't fully close them all the way. Don't ask me why I do that, I just do it without thinking.

Last week when I bought some Brach's classic jelly beans, I will sort through the bags to find the bag that has the most red jelly beans, the reds are my favorite and I never eat the black or white jelly beans. I will sort through the beans and throw all the black and white ones out. Yup I am a jelly bean waster.

If I could I would watch Jeopardy religiously, like every night. The reason I like to watch Jeopardy to see if I possibly possibly know at least one answer to their question or answer their question in a form of a question, you follow?? ;-)

Alright, your turn share your weirdness with me!

Oh and guess what??

You are welcome :-)

I'm the total opposite on the cake thing! I LOVE the cake part but hate the frosting. Maybe I'm the weird one ;) I'm a jelly bean waster too. The black and white ones are awful! I don't even really like the yellow ones... I'd rather just get an entire bag of red ones. And I actually do watch Jeopardy ever night haha! And I get super excited when they have a category I know every answer to, which doesn't happen often.

That JT pic cracks me up. I am the opposite, I usually skip the icing. Unless it's cream cheese icing :) I'm turning 28 this month, as of right now I'm feeling good and don't think I will freak when 29 or 30 hit, sure hope I'm right!

the cabinet doors and drawers thing, that really is weird! Maybe in a former life people were always slamming them shut, so in this life you've decided to just never shut them :) I don't think anyone likes the black or white ones. Although I recently gave my son a bag of jelly bellies and the only ones he returned were the red cinnamon ones. So I guess he liked the black and white ones?

Aah I'd go crazy if I lived with you for the cabinets/drawers reason hah. I'm so OCD; all must be shut tightly. Welcome to the ketchup meets french fries group. I skip the CFA sauce and dip in ketchup though (same goes for the chicken biscuit - no chicken left behind!). Happy May!

I was actually excited to turn 29 this year. I'm so over my 20s lol.

also, I hardly ever shut the cabinets in my kitchen. Drives my husband crazy since he's the one who has to worry about knocking his head on them.

One time I was watching Jeopardy a long time ago at my in laws house (before they were in laws). I was with David and his older brother and the category was something like fashion designers that have debuted at Target (or something to that nature) I got the whole column right and pretty sure I was dubbed high maintenance ever since that day!

I am obsessed with Jeapoardy and my favorite is when I get the final question right and no one else does - lets be honest doesn't happen all that often!! I can't imagine not dipping fries in something for all those years...

Frosting is really the only good part about cake. And the filling, especially if it's raspberry!

Okay- you eat the frosting and I only eat the cake! Together, we'd finish our dessert plates. :)

I think we are long lost twins! I just started using ketchup on my fries, everyone makes fun of me for BARELY dipping into condiments and I could only watch Jeopardy for the rest of my life. The only thing I can't get past is the no microwave! We love leftovers so I don't know what we would do without one!

Ok so the slightly open drawer/door thing. Matt cannot stand this. Usually this is mainly because I just don't "have the time" like my hands are full or whatever...you know. But seriously the first thing he does when he gets home is go around and close all of the cabinets etc that are slightly open. So funny. My parents got their first microwave one year ago. Too funny.

frosting is the best part! :)
i never close my closet door or bedroom door at night. it's just me and my dog, so i don't see why i would need to close it. i'm the same way about sauces. i skip them or barely put anything on.

I'm a cake eater - I always pick off the icing, lol. & I'm the total opposite on sauces - I like EVERYTHING to have a sauce!

So funny about turning 30. The other day I actually forgot how old I am (I'm 32). But I seriously couldn't remember if I was 31 or 32. I had to do the math. It's like birthday years don't matter anymore now that I've hit the big three- oh. :)

How can you live without the microwave?!!! I wouldn't last a day! You must be a fantastic cook! :)

Will leaves drawers and cabinets open too! I do it, but only on my nightstand. I eat ketchup on EVERYTHING. I'm a condiment queen ;)

We don't have a microwave either! I have wanted one and refused to put one in when we built our home. Too bad my kiddos think they are missing out ;)
