My dad is fashionable!

Apparently Birkenstock sandals are very fashionable and in right now. I should call my dad up and let him know what he has ALWAYS always worn is back in style and he is being trendy right now. However, I will put a stop to my dad wearing Birkenstocks and socks together. I will put my foot down on that fashion don't. Hm.. I wonder what my high school biology teacher would have said if I told him wearing socks and Birkenstocks did not make him look cool one point...

So how do you wear your Birkenstocks?

I have a pair and I don't think they are that comfortable. After wearing them for a bit, the bottom of my feet hurt.

No. I think they are the ugliest thing on Earth (next to Crocs) and I would rather be barefoot. They are too clunky in my opinion.

I dont think I can get on board with this one - it reminds me of my high school AP teacher and I didn't like her very much lol

I love mine, too. So comfy and so in. :) Granted, I had to wear them in at first...but after three days they were perfect; plus mine looks like gigantic sandals not like the regular birks. :) LOVE them.

I can't believe these are popular again. Makes me second guess ever giving anything to Goodwill!

I had the knock offs from Target and wore the crap out of them but I always wanted the "real" ones ha. Your dad is welcome to my husband's Birkenstock clogs in our garages. Let me know ;)

I've been noticing that the Birks' are in style again too. They're just too granola for me. And I don't care what anyone says, they aren't flattering on any foot. I say this and watch me be wearing a pair next week!

I am not drinking the koolaid. I just can't get behind Birkenstocks.

yes yes yes. My momma has always worn birks and I thought it was the coolest thing to have matching sandals with her when I was a kid. 4 years ago I bought them again and everyone gave me so much grief for them. Glad they are socially acceptable for me to wear now ;)
