As I mentioned yesterday while reading My Life in France by Julia Child made me hungry for French food, croissants, baguettes, fromage (dang, can't eat that brie) and macarons.
Julia Child was known for her great recipes without them being intimidating, she did say after all, "no one is born a great cook, one learns by doing."
So that is what I intend to do for a few Wednesdays on this blog learn some of her recipes by doing. A few of the classic Julia Child recipes that I will make are:
beef bourguignon.
coq au vin
potato leek soup
omelette roulee
cherry clafouti
So 5 Wednesdays of French technique a la Julia Child!
Bon Appetit!
