Last night while sitting around figuring out what to write about for today's post, does anyone else ever seem to have that issue, a lack of creativity or what the heck should I write about? I was texting back and forth with Kasey and we have been talking about trying a pure barre class. That is when it hit me, write a post about things I have always wanted to try so Kasey, I credit our conversations to this post :-)
The first thing I have always wanted to try is a pure barre class.
I mean tight, fit and toned, sign me up!
Another thing I want to
Another thing I want to try is a road trip all along the West Coast with Sean from Seattle to San Diego or close enough :-)
What are some things you have always wanted to try?

I've done barre classes a few times and it was a GREAT workout! I was so sore the next day!
I've always wanted to try skiing. I'm not a fan of the cold, but I can try just once to mark it off my bucket list.
I really want to try a Pure Barre class too! I just checked, and luckily, there is a studio within walking distance of where we're moving. Maybe I'll finally get around to it :)
I've always wanted to try paddle boarding too! Looks like so much fun, but I guess I would have to get over my fear of the ocean, or just not fall in! Camping is fun, just do it!
I want to take a road trip just have to convince B:)
totally agree about pure barre and paddle boarding, those two have been on my list for a while now! unfortunately there aren't any super close to my house! i will keep looking though!
I can speak for two of these things. Pure Barre is AMAZING...and yet extremely painful. You wouldn't think just standing still could hurt but oh does it! And I love camping! It's really great when you find the right place!
Go camping!! It's really so much fun ( as long as you have the right equipment). I'd really love to take some art/photography/sewing classes
I've always wanted to paddle board, too.
And don't feel bad about being obsessed with yours dogs- or at least know you're in the same boat as me because I'm crazy for my pups. :)
Happy Tuesday!

That road trip sounds like so much fun! I think my dog Jinx would LOVE paddleboarding since he's a big fan of the water.

M and I did a road trip out west last summer! However we were supposed to camp throughout it, but that only happened once and it was soooo stinkin' hot we hotelier it the rest of the way! I would love to be able to do a real camping trip! Paddle boarding looks fun too! I wonder if its hard? Lol great list!!
Oh... I have a lot of things I want to try, but maybe they aren't in the sporting world of adventure. I want to be a mom, I want to get organized, I want to have a girls day where all I do is sleep and watch chick flicks. Haha. See mine aren't as fun as yours, but they will work for me! =) BTW, that road trip sounds like it would be so much fun!
When Steve and I went camping together it ended up getting down to 30 degrees the first night and I may or may not have booked us a hotel for night 2 haha. Rustic is not so much me.
I have always wanted to sign up for an adult tap dance class! perhaps this is the little push I need!

This is so fun! It's amazing how much pure barre has taken off, my cousin owns a studio in LA and that was the first time I've heard of it but there's a bunch of places popping up around where I live in the Bay Area! And that roadtrip sounds amazing, long but amazing. I lived in Seattle and grew up in the bay area, but I don't think I've ever done an awesome road trip like that! Maybe I can convince my hubby to do that :)
Thanks for this fun post! I want to try camping for the 2nd time, my 1st time was a total disaster and I swore I'd never do it again...but I think I'm going to surprise hubs and go to Yosemite next weekend!
I would love to do a West Coast road trip, that would be amazing! (I'd also like to hike the PCT as well!) But as a huge fan of camping and paddle boarding, I highly suggest you do both this summer! Also, I've taken some Pure Barre classes in the past and they're amazing! xo
Cross Country road trip! Oh yeah! This was a great idea for a post :)
They had a groupon deal last week for pure barre classes here and I missed it! I am DYING to try it!
I'm prepping a post about my spring to-do list and camping is on there. I have never been camping before and have always wanted to do it. Randy and I put a tent on our bridal registry and some people raaaan with the tent idea and we ended up with 3 huuuge camping-themed gifts. We are ready to go!
i second the camping!! we have said the past 2 years that we would go camping and somehow it always gets pushed to the side. this year, we are gonna make it happen!!
ohhh i've definitely wanted to try all of these.
i want to backpack across europe!
K
I always wanted to take an improv class!!
I have been wanting to try pure barre too!! I hear it's amazing, but it's so expensive around here. As far as camping goes, do it!!! It will be so fun. Even if some things go wrong, they will make for funny stories for years to come :)
All of these look so fun! I have been wanting to go camping too! I am hoping to make it happen this summer! I love road trips!
Yes, GO CAMPING! We spend our summers camping with Avery (both Erik and I spent our summers camping as kids as well). One time my parents packed us up and camped all through the west coast, Washington through California. Erik and I have camped all over Washington, Oregon, California and Nevada. There is nothing I love more!
oh that roadtrip sounds heavenly. i'm sure the sights along the west coast would be to die for. i've never been a camping kind of girl, but for some reason i've had the itch to do so lately. that might be this summer too.
I am dying to try Pure Barre, I just wish it wasnt so expensive but I've heard it is an amazing work out!
I'd love to take a road trip along the West Coast, too, and also the East Coast or really anywhere across the country. It's for sure on my bucket list! I've driven between TX and Cali, and TX and Arizona several times but that's not the prettiest of drives in my opinion. Ha!
how fun! keep us posted as you check them off! Russ and I are going real camping in Yosemite for the first time together this summer. I am very excited!
I LOVE paddle boarding!!! It is so much fun, I did it in the ocean where it was more challenging but I'm dying to do it in a lake and just paddle all over.
KB and I go camping a lot (we used to go a lot more) and it is so fun!
oh i have always wanted to try a pure barre class...and a crazy road trip!! i also REALLY want to swim with dolphins and travel across europe!!

just came by your blog this morning!Love it!
I have heard so many great things about the pure barre classes! Although I've never done one, I do ballet...and I'd recommend ANYTHING that offers the same/similar workout. You won't regret it.
OK, so I'm going to say exactly what sixth tractate has said and...invite you to follow my blog too. I'd (really) love to have you follow along in return. Hope to see you there sometime soon.
Looking forward to checking back again!

I am always super sore after doing my cardio barre DVD. I would love to do an actual class. We're planning on going camping next month- I can't wait!
Kevin has done the whole west coast drive. I so want him to do it again and include me :-)
I love the idea to travel! Now with 2 kids, that might not be as realistic but if you decide to go, I will live vicariously through you! I have always wanted to dye my hair a dark brown. I will never have the courage to do it...I always go bright blond but maybe one day, when I really don't care what anyone thinks of me I will try it..until then, I will make my hair apt. for a bright blond please!
I have always wanted to paddle board too! Just a silly thing, but it looks like fun and great exercise!
Paddle boarding is a blast, we did it on Lake Union a while back and had so much fun. I've got to cross bungee jumping off my list before I get too much older...
One of the things I've always wanted to try is a road trip like the one you described...also a trip to Paris (since I'm a bakery and all-cute-things addict).
Definitely there are so many things I still want to try and do...you just reminded me to write them all down in a notebook! ;-)
I need to get to a barre class asap. have you found one near us?
If you're looking into barre classes keep your eyes out on living social and groupon. They're always having deals for those classes. The same goes for paddle boarding! One of my friends found a great deal on groupon and has been hooked on paddle boarding ever since.

hey if you do want to do a West Coast road trip, let me know!!! I would love to meet up with you in the Seattle area!!!
Umm how funny because we can do ALL of these things together!!
Pure Barre - check
Paddleboarding - check. we can do this for free at Sam's job!
Camping- check. Sam's parents have a trailer that we can use and it has queen beds on both ends!
Road trip might take a little longer to make happen ;D
I've wanted to try the Barre classes, too, but they're $12 per class, which I think it a bit steep when I could have a gym membership for $10/month. If you do check it out, you'll have to let us know how it was!
I soooooo want to try paddle boarding !!!!
