How to Use Up Lots and Lots of Lemons...

Remember this photo?
My friend Laura blessed me with lots and lots of lemons, I had three huge bowls of lemons sitting around my house.
See?

However my little heart that beats baking couldn't let these lemons just sit around as decor, I had to use them. I have three uses for the lemons so far.
Lemon project #1 - ice cold with a slice of lemon, simple perfection in a glass

Lemon project #2 lemon bars - the best ones ever!
get the recipe here http://henninglove.blogspot.com/2012/09/luscious-lemon-bars.html

Lemon project #3 homemade lemonade - used my juicer to get the lemon juice, fresh is bestest
Ill keep you up to date on my other lemon recipes, I'm thinking lemon cream sauce with tortellini, chicken piccata and definitely another lemon dessert. How can I resist? You are so creative. I would just use them as decor until they went bad. I'm not creative (or the best baker) like you!

I love love love lemons! These are all great ways to use them – once you start drinking water with lemon it's hard to go back to plain.

Oh lemonade, it looks incredible and my mouth is watering! Try mixing some lemon juice with baking soda for a quick, natural teeth whitening. I did it this weekend and it was awesome!
