Big Bear Sneak Peek!

Just a sneak peek of our day here yesterday in Big Bear. We will be here through Sunday so I don't want to do a trip re-cap just yet, but just a few photos showing off how beautiful Big Bear is and also I was really excited to see the snow feature on my camera, because that hardly happens.

I love how the village is still decorated for Christmas!

A afternoon sweet treat from Sugar Pine Bakery - a cupcake with a brownie in the middle!

That sweet treat is making my mouth water. We almost went to Mammoth for New Year's Eve, but instead had a bunch of friends come down from Los Angeles. Everything looks amazing! Enjoy your last few days.

What a fun trip! i never get to use the snow feature on my camera either...in fact, this reminded me that I even HAVE a snow feature ;) And I am about to lick my computer screen for the cupcake/brownie confection. Just looking at it made me gain ten pounds I think, haha!

You are going to call me crazy here, but your Big Bear posts are bringing tears to my eyes! My aunt & uncle owned a restaurant up there for more than 30 years but I haven't been back up since they sold it (in 2001, I think). So much of my childhood was spent up there during summer and winter!

It is such a special place. I'm glad you two were able to enjoy it! xoxo
