Why Do I Live So Far Away?

*the winner of the Tacti Design giveaway is Allison, congrats!

That is the question I ask myself when another wonderful weekend visit with my cousin, Montana, has come to an end. It always goes so fast, we always have a great time and I always wish that we lived closer, although an hour plane ride isn't too terrible :-)
So Friday, our first stop was to Ikea. I know this is not new news but um.. hello Ikea food court, awesome food! I loved their cornbread and Montana raved about their Swedish meatballs so of course she ordered that. To kill time for the rush hour traffic, what else do you besides go to Nordstrom Rack, so that is what we did? Between the trying on of the shoes and a fluffy vest that resembled Cookie Monster, we had a blast.
Saturday morning started off with a trip to the farmers market and honestly if Sean and I moved up to Northern California, besides living closer to Montana, the second best reason would be the awesome farmers market.
After I got a delicious cup of freshly brewed coffee, we perused the farmers market. The produce was in abundance and very colorful. You know who they recommend eating the colors of the rainbow for a healthy diet, you definitely could at this farmers market.

Later on, Montana and I headed over to Livermore for lunch and a corn maze.
Stopping for some morsels of eat, meats and breads accompanied by a sparkling wine flight as well as some bacon-wrapped shrimp, we had enough energy to tackle the corn maze.

Onto the corn maze...

Want to see the maze from above? Don't worry, I didn't rent a plane just to take this photo for you all.

That was just Saturday. Sunday we took a hot pilates class, shopped in downtown Los Gatos and then before I knew it, it was time to head back down to L.A.
Hope you all had a fabulous weekend.
p.s. I can't forget a photo of Montana's cats. I am not a cat person but I like these cats

The meatballs from Ikea are the only way I can get my husband to go there! :) he refuses unless he gets to have them.
I wish we had a Nordstrom Rack. Probably one of my fav. stores. Although I'm not sure if it would be a good thing if I could go more often....
Have a fantastic day

As much as I'd love to take on a corn maze some day, those aerial photos of mazes scare the heck out of me! I'm not sure I could ever get out... how long does it take to get through them?

Oh... and that bacon wrapped shrimp looks amazing. If you win, I'll take my payment for voting in bacon chocolate chip cookies. ;)
