I have to admit over the past few years well since I graduated from college, I have not participate in Halloween. I wasn't a huge fan of the holiday after middle school, it was fun and all but I don't understand the hype. I don't understand why it seems to be a free pass to show as much as skin as possible. I pretty much hibernate on Halloween night and not give out candy because every single time the door bell rings, my dogs go crazy bonkers! I can't handle that all evening so it is easier just to make it a quiet evening.
I feel a little rusty creating a Halloween costume so I went simple. Here is my costume for Friday's Fancies and I hope you can figure out my costume without me having to tell you.
Can you figure it out?
I created a Where's Waldo costume.
Ok I said I would make a better effort in taking photos and I took photos of three outfits
I wore this past week to work.
I wore this past week to work.
The first outfit is a print-mixing outfit.
I am trying out Sean's glasses, he has pretty much 20/20 vision, lucky husband.
More outfits
I said chambray, leopard and booties and bam! this outfit came together.
Have a great weekend all! Tomorrow night, Sean and I with some friends are going to an Asian night market and eating at food trucks. Are we obsessed with food trucks? Just a bit and I heard the original food truck, Kogi, the one that started the craze will be in attendance. I have to try the original!
Catch you all on Monday.

I love your take on Waldo. Cute and modern. Food trucks...yummy! I had my first food truck experience a few weeks ago. Loved it! Have a wonderful weekend.
Love the Where's Waldo. All pieces that you can wear once Halloween is over, which is super important and cost efficient in my book.

That's great! I love it!

the waldo costume is super cute!!!! have fun at the food truck night. those are so much fun, and kogi is pretty legit!! the owner of kogi also opened a restaurant called chego in west la. chego does fusion bowls in the style of kogi, too. i think it's better than kogi...you should try it out if you're ever in the area! :)

Love the outfits you wore this week... looks pretty similar to my week! botties, chambray, and leopard belt are definitely on rotation!
I haven't done halloween since my first year in college. I do do halloween, I just don't dress up. But this year, we are dressing up. I am going to try to be Katniss from the Hunger Games. I don't know how I will manage it. But I will try. Your Where's Waldo is a really good idea though. I love that.
Love your outfits, especially the one with chambray, leopard and booties. Enjoy the food trucks this weekend! Happy Friday!

I'm with you on the Halloween stuff. This is really bad, but I kind of despise it. I'd rather spend my money on regular clothes, than costumes...so I usually don't dress up & just let the kids have fun with it!! Have a wonderful weekend!! btw, I would dress up in this Waldo costume, it's really pretty cute:)

I love this costume! It's actually a cute outfit to wear any time during fall, too. I'm with you on the Halloween thing. I just don't get it. We decorated the apartment and are planning on handing out candy this year but I don't understand why adults use it as a free pass to dress like skanks and act like idiots. I'd much rather stay it with some hot cocoa and a good movie. :)
I like the where's waldo costume, totally cute! Love the last outfit with the blazer. I too just tried my hand with mixing patterns...come check it out =)
