Wedges for summer has been on my brain lately and don't worry I am not putting cheese on my feet,
that would be super stinky. Eeeww!! Wedges are the summer's answer to heels because frankly in the summer when it is hot outside, my feet get a little sweaty and they tend to slip out and that isn't ladylike. Like I said wedges are summer salvation to wearing height on your feet without fearing your feet will slip out of the heels you are wearing. I'm talking especially during the work days when I am out and about. I have assembled together some of my favorite wedges I have been seeing lately, you know a little online shopping for this Fashion Friday.
Which ones are your favorites? Any pair you are swooning over that you must have?

Lastly, if I could own just any pair, price was no objective, I would own these beauties.
They are simple, just enough foot coverage and would be my summer equivalent of my go to brown flats that I am always wearing.

Tomorrow I am running 9 miles with my running partner (oh did I mention I am running a half marathon next month on May 20), then Sean and I have a wedding in the afternoon down at a vineyard and then Sunday the Color Run with some of my favorite bloggers Leeann and Selma! Look for colorful photos of our run next week.

I just bought the Kate Spade wedges with the rainbow-style heel...I love them! Waiting for the perfect even to wear them. Enjoy running! I miss it so much now that I'm 7 mths pregnant. Can't wait to get that baby out in the jogging stroller soon though. :)
The fourth pair is my favorite. It looks like something Laura from Roots and Wings would wear ... sort of Native American ... and I'm pretty much obsessed with her style right now.
The problem is that I'm already tall so shoes with any heel make me gigantic. :(

I love them all! Especially the Juicy Couture ones! Word to the wise.. Don't buy Dolce Vita wedges that have a cork bottom. I did and only wore them several times before the entire cork section fell off while I was standing up at a bar! Not a fun time :)
Oh man..if I wore any of these, I would be a giant!!

I was just telling Leeann how jealous I am of the Color Run! My foot is broken, so no running for me. :( I'm all about wedges (even though that's how I broke my foot!) and I'm currently obsessed with this patterned Steve Madden pair . . . hard to convince myself to buy them when I am currently sporting a huge boot on my left leg! I looooove those Juicy ones with the neon yellow, by the way! Those are my favorites for sure.

I seriously love Target shoes. They make me so happy. Wedges are perfect and I wear them year round. I had a pair last summer that I literally wore until they HAD to be thrown away because I got them so dirty. They were perfect and now I miss them...:(

Oh my gosh, do I have to choose? ALL of those are so chic & summer fun. But the ones now on my wishlist are the last ones, the Lauren brown wedges, the coral espadrilles, and the black snakeskin wedges at the top. So cute!!

I just bought a pair of silver seychelles from Gilt. I'm feeling just that...guilt ;) But they were marked down a tad and they're for a wedding so c'est la vie!
