An evening in the Henning household...

After dinner is eaten, after the dishes are washed by Sean I might add, yes he washes all the dishes (sorry he is mine) and if we don't have anything scheduled that evening, usually Sean and I retreat up to relax with our dogs in our room. This particular night that was documented below, we had to prepare to teach for our weekly bible study. Here's just a little peek into our evening, while it isn't outstanding, it was filled with my husband learning more about the word of God to better lead his wife and teach our bible study. This was my dream lived out in real life today.

Ok I apologize and was being a bit vain because thought I was having a really good hair day.

She is always giving kisses - I think she is glad we adopted her

Yes our evenings usually finish up with a bowl of ice cream. This particular evening, it was Trader Joe's Candy Cane Joe-Joe's Ice Cream and it was amazing.

And one more thing, I know my husband loves me because he came home on Sunday night with an eggnog milkshake and a party size bag of peanut M&Ms, 42 ounces of chocolate and peanutty goodness. Yes there is a lot of love in our marriage, we might not always get it right but we keep trying and working to improve the things we don't always see eye to eye on. And that is a night in our household!

you were having a good hair day!! not that I've seen you with a bad one but hey, I'd still take the picture! Haha and omg candy cane ice cream!! I haven't had that in forever!! I think I'll be making a pit stop on the way home...I mean it is Christmas time after all. :) I would be in big trouble if I had a man bringing me home milkshakes and m&m's. BIG trouble. haha

That's a wonderful evening :). I wish I had a group around here to do a Bible3 study with. I moved from CA where there were tons of studies going on, but small-town= a little more difficult! Have a good one! :)

Nice catch hehe! That ice cream sounds amazing....and aren't doggie kisses the best?? Our little one has a thing for the mouth, which makes for awkward times. We are trying to break her of that habit!

That is the sweetest. I love that you guys lead a bible study, it is such an important aspect of marriage. Sadly our schedule hasn't allowed us to join a bible study, and I miss our old young married's group dearly. Now you have me craving that ice cream!
