Friday Fancies and a few outfits of my own :-)

Today is the last day to enter my giveaway for a $50 credit to Pick Your Plum. Have you seen the items they have available this year? It is a crafter or DIY-ers dream!

So glad it is Friday, I don't know why but I have been really tired lately, maybe not enough sleep :-) But that is what a weekend is for to catch up on sleep! As much as my dogs will allow. Actually they are pretty good as long as they have breakfast in their stomach then they have no problem going back to sleep. So I will be able to catch up on sleep no problem this weekend.

I mentioned I might be doing a few OOTD more and eck, I have failed that! So I made a better effort this week to take photos of my outfits. In fact, the first photo I want to share is the flower pin I did a giveaway recently from LoveNote Crafts. I found a new way to use my pin besides putting it on my jacket. The sweater is from Anthropologie last fall, and while it is a nice sweater, it just hangs on me and doesn't give me much of a shape until now.
Look!

Pulling the ends of the sweater across my waist and then pinning it gives me more of a waist and makes me feel better about wearing that sweater. I am wearing a striped top from Ann Taylor LOFT, love that top.
Yesterday I was looking through blogs, and saw this really cute outfit of a turquoise skirt and striped white and coral top, both items I have! I love getting inspiration for my outfits from other blogs. It definitely helps me to "shop" in my closet more.
Want to see my inspiration?
I love this girl's blog and her sense of style is just pure awesomeness!

Sorry for the not yet styled hair, I wasn't completely ready when I took this photo :-)

I did an outfit for Friday Fancies as well with a few Lilly Pulitzer items.

Here is my Lilly Pulitzer-inspired outfit with a few items from her new collection, Jungle Glam.
What do you think?

Aww..the placement of that flower in the first pic is perfect! The 2nd outfit is so cheery and cute. That is so funny my dogs are the same way...as long as they get breakfast in their belly they will go back to sleep. Have a good weekend! Unfortunately, I have a 6 day work week and have to work an event tomorrow...ugh I am dreading the 6am wake-up already!
