Cranberry Goodness!

I posted a recipe for cranberry coffeecake on Sunday and I thought I would continue that theme of cranberries. You can use cranberries in baking or decorating and this post is to give you some pinspiration, yes, I am recycling that word of how to use cranberries to decorate your house during this holiday season. If you use cranberries and some oranges, kumquats, nuts or pinecones, you can rock the cranberries during the Thanksgiving season. Then after Thanksgiving, you can use pine branches and other Christmas ideas to decorate your house. Sorry, I am a fan of celebrating the holidays individually and giving them their proper amount of time and not skipping ahead to the next holiday before celebrating the one coming up first.
I am linking this post up over at the The Vintage Apple for Oh Pinteresting Wednesday.

I love the cranberries in the hurricane candles. So pretty and festive! I have a couple of cranberry trees that I use for Christmas every year in our living room. I really like them! I think decorating with cranberries is a perfect touch of color--especially with grapevines or burlap. And, I agree with you--I like to celebrate each holiday before moving onto the next one! :)

Thank you so much for your comment on my blog! It led me to your blog and all of your great ideas! I always buy that huge costco bag of cranberries every year. I make a small amount of cranberry sauce, and then I never know what to do with the rest. I'm going to try out some of these ideas!

I also went back and read your cranberry coffee cake recipe and I am definitely going to try it! Yum.
