Colorful buildings of Aruba and Curacao

On Aruba and Curacao the buildings, houses and schools were painted in very bright colors, some were more bold than others, some were more muted. The only other island I have seen buildings painted in such vivid colors was on Borano, Italy near Venice. The colors gave the two islands such a unique feel and I swear I was walking into people while I was looking up at all the different colored building. Enjoy a small sampling of the variety of buildings on these two islands!

Walked down an alleyway and looked through this

What do you think of these buildings? Want to paint your house or apartment building in these colors?

Isn't Aruba gorgeous! I would go back there in a heart beat. We rented bikes and rode them over to that shopping center. The bikes were the same color pink - my bike and my fiance's!

I went to Borano and loved it! Such a neat little village.

I think if I lived somewhere like that, I'd paint my house like that. Not here though, my HOA would chase me out of the neighborhood!
