Being a bridesmaid is awesome, you are part of the action, you are part of the day but you are not the center of the day. You still get to get all dolled up, make-up, hair, you usually get pretty jewelry as a thank you from the bride, but you don't get to pick the dress or the shoes you wear that day. You get a pretty bouquet of flowers to carry, you get a free meal and maybe drink and cake at the end of the evening, always cake!
Saturday was a GREAT day, yes I got my hair done, I felt pretty and having ordered my dress when I was 36 weeks pregnant with Caleb, it fit! Saturday was great because it was about love, love that for the groom has been several years for the bride, unrequited at times but eventually she found her prince charming in a guy who has loved her years before.
