How Do I Look?

Do you know that I wear contacts? Good, because that is what I didn't want you to know, now the cat is out of the bag. Slowly from high school to college, my eye sight gradually grew worse. I would sit in my college classes squinting my eyes or asking my classmates, what does the board say? One night I was driving and my dad said, do you need glasses? So that as the final straw, off I went to get a pair of glasses and I did not like it. I didn't like the look of wearing glasses, I wore them when it was only really necessary.

Gradually, my eyesight grew out of the prescription of my eyeglasses were and weren't helpful anymore. But did I do anything about it it? Nope, not until the February before Sean and I got married. Why did I finally decide to do something about my eyesight, and this is where this post gets really shallow, I wanted to get able to see people at our wedding. Anyways, during my check-up with the eye doctor, he commented, you know with your prescription you legally shouldn't be able to drive. OOPS!

So every day, I wear contacts and this world is so much clearer..
It is amazing when you can see properly, ha!
Recently, I was contacted by firmoo.com about their frames and the virtual try-on app.
Firmoo gives you the ability to try on eyeglasses frames with their virtual mirror, so no appointment, no waiting in the lobby and no agonizing over what frames to choose while the clock is ticking away waiting for you to choose your perfect frames. You can do it in the comfort of your home and get an option from your spouse or friends right away.

Even if you don't need to wear glasses (lucky you by the way), Firmoo has fashion frames as well. If you need glasses but don't want to bother with an appointment and glasses fitting check out Firmoo's free eyewear programs for first-timers.

Want to check out the frames I selected?

If you are interested in getting a free pair check out the Firmoo's free eyewear for first-time buyers program. Firmoo send me my glasses fast, they were prompt with any questions I had and I have gotten rave reviews about the frames I selected thanks to their virtual try-on program.

*I was compensated for this post with a free pair of glasses; however, my opinions states are completely my own.

I love them! You look great! I have very similar glasses I wear when doing a lot of computer work or driving at night (or at least I am suppose to) :)

You look so cute with your glasses!
And your story sounds so familiar! :) Haha. You made me smile a lot. I think I was half blind before I finally went to see an eye doctor! I wear contacts too, I only wear my glasses at home....shame on me.

LOVE them! You look adorable! I'm quite blind myself and have been wearing glasses since I was 4 and contacts since I was 13. My grandma let me pick a pair of new glasses as my Christmas present last year, and I got the cutest over-sized gray pair, that were actually for men...but hey, who cares! I like the nerdy look. ;)

I like your look in glasses. The shape fits your face. Are they black or brown? Virtually trying on glasses sounds so cool. Wow even eyeglass shopping is made easy.

They look great! I am new to glasses as well and I like options, so I get all my frames at www.eyebuydirect.com. I love them! They are super affordable for the frames with perscription lenses.

I want to try larger ones like yours!

cute! Thanks for sharing the link.

and I got glasses to wear at college.. I got sick of asking the person next to me what the professor was writing, and realized I needed glasses--- but other than that I don't need to wear them! Maybe if I get a cute pair from Firmoo I will wear them more!

You are one of those people who look ADORABLE in glasses. I am as blind as a bat and my eye sight webt wayyyyyy before yours (in 5th grade!) but I have NEVER looked good in glasses. I seriously wear mine from the bathroom to the bed and that's it!

First, I LOVE your glasses!!! Second, I need new glasses. I wear glasses but hate to wear them because they're not that cute anymore and I'm just not ready to give up the money for new ones. Now I can't wait to try out this site!!

I loooooove your frames! I love my glasses. I have a really wide face so I have to shop in the men's department but fortunately, that look is in these days. :)

Very cool site. I love it when the internet makes things simpler.

in 3rd grade it was braces, and now it is glasses - I want something that I don't medically need... but there are such great frame options available now! Love the ones you chose!
