Christmas has come and gone...

Why is it hardest to feel any motivation in the days following Christmas? Doesn't the time seem to go much slower, the pace of life is just crawling by? Ugh, these days can be such a pain.
I hope all of you had a great Christmas, receiving some great gifts, eating lots of yummy food and spending quality time with your friends and family.

I had a great Christmas and sad to be back in the routine of normal life. We had a great trip, all four of us, Sean, Kip, Kimbia and myself up to the central coast. On Friday, I got to see my aunt, uncle and two cousins and their significant others (one husband, the other boyfriend) for dinner, always a great time whenever I see them, which isn't nearly enough.

While up there, we went for some runs, did some wine tasting, met up with friends, went to church, celebrated Christmas of course with the family.
Just a photo re-cap of our trip.
A trail run with the dogs and some gorgeous views!

And our Christmas morning!

The lull between Christmas and New Year's is just awful.

i definitely agree with the lack of motivation after holidays-it's so funny how even when you need to get things done, some how you don't?

have a happy new year!

I feel so unmotivated this week, too! Luckily, I picked up a lot of extra hours at work since one of the other receptionists is out of town so I go there and stay busy/productive! :)

Glad you had such a wonderful Christmas, Meg! I just love seeing a good Christmas tree with presents wrapped beneath it.

I love the pictures from your trail run! It's so great to get out with the dogs. We had to board Rex for Christmas and I made sure to take him on an extra long walk the day he came home. He's always a little depressed when he comes home, but the walk cheered him right up!! I'm so glad you had a good Christmas, Meg! It is hard to get motivated again, but I'm working on it! :)

I feel so lucky that we're still on vacation but I'm sure that when I return back to the normal routine it was all feel so slow and slugish. Where on the central coast were you? I love that area!

Amen, sista! I know what you mean about the time slowing down and a lack of motivation! It definitely doesn't help that I haven't had to work, either. It's like my butt has grown to the couch besides the occasional trip to the store and load of laundry to do or meal to cook. I'm becoming a hermit....
On a completely different note, looks like you had an awesome Christmas!
