I've been crafty...

I love DIY especially anything for my living room right now because I have been changing the overall look and I have seen some of the sweetest DIY projects when browsing through blogs so I give these projects the credit that they are someone's creativity, I just thought they were adorable and I had to recreate them.

My first project is making milk bottles out of glass soda bottles.

I spray painted them a cream color

And I painted the carton a baby blue color

The finished milk bottle project!

Then I stuck some dried yellow flowers to add some beauty to this fun and easy project

Here it is in my living room!

The next fun project I saw was over at the blog, Hello Chelsea, I thought it was adorable! And I dumpster dove for the wood, honestly this project was on my mind, I came home one day and our neighbor across the street was getting rid of this chair. I parked, quickly go out, dashed across to his trash and hightailed myself and the chair back to my front porch as fast as my legs could carry me. It was mine folks, for this project! I would be turning this chair

into this.
http://hellomisschelsea.blogspot.com/2011/08/life-is-beauty-full.html
To start, my Sean took apart the chair, piece by piece because I needed them for the project.

Poor chair, taken apart piece by piece.
I bought stencils from Lowes and a cream colored paint from Michaels, hello only 59 cents a bottle!
I started the stenciling, first spray painting and then I just outlined the letter, then used the acrylic paints, worked so much better!

Here you can see the finished project up close and personal!

And then hanging on the wall in my living room

Lastly, I didn't make it myself but bought it during an international street faire last weekend,
I had the sign custom made for only $10.

What do you think? It reads more creative when it is written like chick and hen-nings, but isnt it cute?
