Bracelets and the stacking of them

Right now I am thoroughly enjoying my relaxing Saturday morning, spending it still in bed with my two dogs curled up besides me, life couldn't get much better that than sometimes :-)

I really love the recent look of stacking bracelets and Anthropologie had some really cute wrap bracelets with mini diamond studs and they were woven into the bracelet with some colorful thread. Does anyone recall them? I almost purchased them, you got two with your purchase but I couldn't decide if I really wanted them
or not. They still have a few with beads in it, you could do beads or the mini studs. Here are a few.

But unfortunately at $170 and $220 a pop respectively, I need to save my money and spend it on more important things like food, toilet paper, paying my cell phone bill. Sorry Anthropologie, I love you dearly but your prices send me packing to look for cheaper alternatives. And guess what? I found it! There are cheaper alternatives out there, maybe Target or another store or you can make it yourself. I would love to make these bracelets myself. How cute are they!
Here is the link the how to make them yourself. http://honestlywtf.com/diy/diy-wrap-bracelet/
I probably won't be making these this weekend, maybe during an evening next week, but I'll be taking my 40% off coupon at Michaels in the weekend paper to save some money. I'm already looking forward to the finished project and displaying it for you all to see and try yourself :-)

I love these bracelets but don't know if I'm funky/edgy enough to pull them off...they would definitely be a fun DIY project, though!
