6 months...

Yesterday we reached half a year, half a year of being Caleb's parents, half a year of breast feeding, half a year of changing dirty and wet diapers, half a year of waking up every night to feed him and calm him back to sleep, the list goes on. Getting to be parents to sweet Caleb is definitely a gift from God, there is no other way to explain it. God created Caleb and He knows Caleb. God has given us the most incredible, precious gift. Those dimples, that smile, they light up my day, every day all day. 

We reached some major milestones with Caleb recently. He is sitting up on his own for the most part, occasionally he will loose his balance and fall to the side but he is enjoying sitting up. His two bottom teeth popped through the surface of the gums, he is sitting up in the grocery cart when he go shopping and next Sunday he will going to the nursery during church, Mom and Dad are going back to the main sanctuary!

Life with Caleb is pretty awesome, he is a pretty calm baby except when he is hungry or in the middle of the night and he can't go back to sleep. I love watching discover his world, wanting to put anything in his mouth and wanting anything I have in my hands. 

There is nothing I love more than being Caleb's mom and I am incredibly thankful for these past 6 months and look forward to many more 6 month increments with Caleb!
