Yesterday Caleb turned 4 months...which is 1/3 of his first year of life. Oh my gosh. I never believed what people said that it goes fast when you are a parent and I apologize to every single person who told me that because it is true, by golly it is true.
The days and weeks just fly by when you are taking care of a baby. The hours in my day literally seem to dissolve away and before I know it, it is time to put Caleb down for bed so we can wake up the next day and happily do it all over again.
What has Caleb been doing this past month?
Caleb has rolled over from stomach to back and then back to stomach multiple times.
He is starting to notice his world around him like when Kimbia is near him, he is noticing her and tracking her at she walks around the room.
Caleb knows when he is not with me and wants me around.
He is a pretty happy baby, wakes up cooing.
He talks A LOT and has many different noises, sometimes even screams.
He is beginning to laugh and giggle and I love hearing that develop. In fact shortly after he was born, I was reading up on when babies begin to laugh, because I couldn't wait to hear those precious noises.
No teeth yet, not even a little nub of a tooth.
I love seeing him grow and develop every day. Three weeks ago, he was constantly sucking on his thumb and forefinger of his right hand and doesn't do that anymore and has moved onto
He begins to rub his eyes when he is getting tired making it easier to pick up on those tired cues.

Ahh he is SO cute and I can't believe he's 4 months already. That means Hannah is not far behind and you're right, it goes so fast. I CANNOT wait to hear that first laugh or giggle. I was just thinking yesterday about when it was going to happen. And right now she is loving sucking on her hands!
