I know it is Wednesday and I am only NOW posting about our weekend, pre-scheduled posts you know. Anyways, Caleb was born in California and only just now did we take him to a California beach. He was 6 weeks when he went to the beach the first time but that was a Florida beach.
Annnndddd (this is shocking) since Sean and I started dating we have never had a beach day. Oh we have gone down to the water but we rode bikes, we kayaked but we never actually laid out on the sand and went into the ocean. So we went to the beach to bring closure to two situations - the fact that Caleb hasn't been to a California beach and to ensure that Sean and I have at least one beach day together.
We went to the beach with Stephanie, her husband Jon and their adorable daughter Harper
It was a very nice, relaxing day of a yummy lunch made by Stephanie and hanging out by the water enjoying our babies and life as parents.

I can't get over you guys not having a beach day before Caleb - but thankfully that has been changed!! Looks like a fun family day!!
Did he totally love it?? Beckett takes his best naps on the beach. It's like automatic - as soon as we get there and I set him down, he's out.

oh I love beach days! We actually had one the day before my daughter was born, just as a family of three, it was nice. And we have the same umbrella, from costco! :) Next time you hit up the beach, let us know...we'll meet up with you!
